Melissa & Doug products never disappoint, and these Mickey Mouse magnets are no exception. The 20 pieces include all the classic characters (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, etc.), and the colors are so vibrant. I love that the entire back of the character is magnetic, rather than just having a small magnet glued on that could fall off and become a choking hazard. I purchased this magnet set for my son who at the time was just shy of 1 year old. He has had an adoration of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, so when it was time for him to start standing on his own, I found these magnets as a good educational device to have on the fridge. Now 6 months later, he still loves going over to the fridge to find these characters and pull them off, even better is that is starting to name them. To me, these magnets helped with both dexterity and word association. The packaging was typical Melissa and Doug (wooden box) and all of the magnets were visible through the top. They are made of durable wood with the image on the front and regular magnet on the back. They vary in size, so as he was smaller, I hid the smallest of the magnets out of his reach higher up on the fridge, while many of the magnets were oversized and better for his age lower to the ground. They have stood up to time, being that since we have been using them, he has plucked them off the fridge, bit and chewed all over them, beat them off the fridge and floor, and they are still holding their shape and design. No bitemarks, no pealed decals or anything from the front. I trust Melissa and Doug products and this lives up to their standards. I would recommend this for anyone with little ones who love to play with magnets as a way to introduce them to characters and names. You'll love watching them walk over to fridge picking one off and bringing it back to you time and time again. Great product!

Cute and easy for a toddler to use. I bought these for my 15 month old Granddaughter and she loves sticking them on the dishwasher (the only magnetic area in my kitchen). She can easily put them on and take them off herself.

I bought this for my 24-month-old. She loves the magnetics. She'll spend hours moving them around on the fridge and dishwasher. The quality is great! The magnetics have been thrown and dropped several times and they're holding up well. The magnetic part works well and covers the full magnetic so it's very durable. The picture quality is great!
