Linux Bible

I started reading this book and it’s really interesting and helpful to understand the linux basics

THIS is THE book to put on your tech bookshelf IF you take interest in Linux. Mine was in a bookslelf system- with anm aquarium on the top.On day the bottom cracked, then collapsed, and 30 gallons went DOWN THE BOOKCASE. Yipes.. So I bought a new one- and no fish tank on top. Maybe a cactus garden... but a fine reference manual.

This book is truly the Linux bible. I refer it it often when debugging Linux issues. That and the Linux Pocket Guide are my knowledge tools.

Good source of information on Linux and it's user interface and features.

It is a great book. It provides enough information but is not overwhelming. I have previous experience with Linux distributions besides Fedora. The book focuses on fedora or red hat. I would recommend for entry or advanced users. It’s a great book to learn about Linux.you can learn online without a book but I personally like a book that I can refer back to.

The book is good at teaching what must be known to get Red Hat Linux System Administration Certification. Other things are covered but the focus is on Red Hat Linux.

I used this book for my Linux Administration class and it made me, generally a windows user, look competent. It has a fantastic layout and a glossary that other glossaries should want to be like when they grow up. There is a lot of detailed information for advanced professionals and those who need to write a paragraph for class. It's such a great reference for all my Linux based courses and my cybersecurity ones too. This is a reference book that I'll be relying on for a long time. My only complaint was I didn't find and buy it sooner.

About anything you might want to know about just about any Linux Distribution, it's in this book! It's a major project to work one's way through it all, but it will be a wonderful reference later on. It's also interesting to know where all the pieces came from.

I'm a super senior developer and sw architect. Buy immediately this product if you want to have a complete guide of linux. Sublime book.

WOW I have done it again, with this bible written by a Red Hat promoter, if Red hat is so great where are all these pocket size computers that run on Red Hat? Why is there lack of hardware running Red Hat O/S as a alternative to another popular equivalent product , so I can replace my 8 year windows laptop that has multiple hardware issues, some say it should have been called a lemon pie and I give my thumbs up to that comment.

Got this for 1300/- in Great Indian Sale, the book was bent and damaged a little, but not too bad. The page quality and print quality is still awesome. Thank you Amazon for the offer!
