Review: Great math adventure for kids - This is a wonderful math adventure for kids. The storyline is intriguing and interesting. The illustrations are top-notch and highly-detailed. The math is accurate and embedded in every line, every picture. Most importantly, from the story to the illustrations, the whole book makes my kids curious, asking questions, and intrigued, in general. That is wonderful. We really need more books like this on math, sciences to help kids learn from stories. Review: Fraction Fun instead of Frustrating - Fun book and helpful with math

Great Book to build excitement about equivalence of fractions
Fun book to read to my class. They were immediately interested in how equivalent fractions can be disguised. With a little sleuthing, we could figure the problem out. Kudos to the author for a fun approach to fractions.

Great resource for introducing and discussing equivalent fractions
The story is cute and engaging and it would be fun to have the students model some of the fractions on whiteboards or with fraction manipulatives as we read through the book. My 4th grade class will enjoy this!

Great book!
Educational entertainment at it’s best! The story about the rare 5/9th is so charming, I almost kept the book for myself instead of giving it to the child for whom it was intended. Great gift!

My 5th graders LOVED this!
I had no idea how much my 5th graders would love this book. They asked me to read it again and again! They dissected the illustrations, searching for a fraction on each character’s outfit. They called out the equivalent fractions as I read it. Great way to integrate ELA and math.

Really wasn't sure how fractions were going to be exciting but our boys LOVE this book! They're ages 8, almost 6 and 3 and they ask for this story and really get into it. The concept of the reducer is fun, especially as the main character makes it himself. Our 5yr old pointed out how the half and 2 quarters were "the same shape but cut into more pieces", so it seems perfect for natural learning. I don't often come back and write reviews but I'm so glad I got this book.

The book recieved had a small story of 33 pages only. Not very educative either. Not a great buy
