I recommend taking a microfiber or thin sponge or whatever and put on the bottom of it. Then duct tape and stick it to the watering-can side, and use duct tape to make a non-sticky circle ring on the endmost side. In other words, don't duct tape both ends to the can itself. This will absorb small leakage and allow you to still easily rotate the head as needed. The rainfall and pour options are extremely nice to have, using one for refilling humidifiers,etc, and the showerhead for plant watering. Review: LOVE this watering can! - I had some watering cans of the same capacity, but they were hard to carry when they were full because the center of gravity was off on them. They were also hard to fill because the handle was fixed directly over the filling hole. This one is VERY easy to fill due to the offset filling hole and VERY easy to carry due to the two handles. The only drawback on this watering can is that the end of the spout pops off periodically. The head attachment is my primary disappointment with this product. (all root veggies started outside}.... to water my seeds I drilled a couple of 3/8" holes in the plastic cap of an empty Crystal Gyser water bottle.... this worked well but I wanted more capacity so I drilled wholes in a larger container, an empty mouthwash bottle's cap.... you can squeeze out the right amount at the right pressure/flow ... **Q: Somehow the front yellow piece on mine is missing. Where can I get a new one ? Now it's just pouring water...** A: If you have owned this item for a while and misplaced or lost the yellow sprinkler head, I suggest contacting Fiskars customer service for a replacement.If you just purchased this item return it, and request something else. I have this product and it leaks at the sprinkler head. Some of the water just pours out and some sprinkles out. This item is a waste of money. **Q: How big is the filling hole?
