Anyone have this problem and fixed it??** A: I bought mine as an out of box item so I figured it was specific to my item alone. But, YES, mine would NOT stay closed. I was using it for craft purposes, not for cooking, so I took a piece of a cardboard box and traced the outline of the bottom of the cellar onto it. I cut that out with scissors and then cut that circle in half. I glued both halves to the side opposite the opening. This tips the balance towards the front/open edge, keeping the lid shut...for the most part. I hope that explanation helps.
