I think I have almost every wine saver ever made that costs under $300. At first, I was very disappointed in this wine saver. It would suck air out of the bottle, but when you took it off the bottle, the “cork” came with it. Beyond frustrating! I tried again recently. Interestingly enough, the wine got sucked out of the bottle and something distracted me, so I left the device sitting on top of the bottle. A couple of minutes later, i lifted it off but it did not pull out the cork…there was no resistance. So, that’s the secret. So here is how I work with this now: I push in the silicone cork as far in as I can, then place the vacuum on top of it. I hold it down and push the button. Once it stops, I leave the vacuum on the cork. In a couple of minutes, it will simply lift off and it won’t pull the cork out of the bottle. Then, when you open it again, you will feel the resistance when you remove the cork. I am still not convinced it’s the best wine saver on the market, but it is decent.

These are a very cool idea. Keep your opened 1.75 bottle of favorite wine fresher than a cork alone. The vacuum works good. Takes A LOT more pumps to create a suction than the instructions suggest, but it gets there. The reason I put 3 stars is because like any item around wine, the suction top gets sticky from wine & you have to soak it in hot water a while to get the old wine out. This works for quite a few months but eventually when shaking out the suction tops, after soaking for a while, you will see dark brown liquid come out from the internal mechanism rusting. Took mine about 6 to 8 months to do this. So I threw it out & ordered more. This suggests that the internal spring may not be stainless steel or something in there. So if your good with a 6 to 8 month life for the money, then they are worth it.

I am not much of a drinker, but I cook with wine and use it to deglaze my pans. It often takes me 3, 4, sometimes 5 meals to go through a bottle. This fits over the neck of the bottle, you set the level of vacuum you want, press the top until the vacuum is achieved. It's simple and effective. I have noticed that the wine keeps very well for a week, and seems to have a limit of about 2 weeks. There are better and much more expensive systems available, but my high end bottles run $15 to $25. This works beautifully for my needs.

I live alone and though I love wine, it takes me a week or more to finish a bottle. Though I’ve only recently feceithis, it seems to do the job.

Non bevo molto vino e quando apro una bottiglia mi dura parecchi giorni, per questo motivo ho voluto provare questi tappi sottovuoto. Sono ben realizzati con un materiale tipo ABS, la parte interna invece è in silicone, li ho utilizzati sia su una bottiglia di fino frizzante dal collo largo, sia su una bottiglia di vino tradizionale ed in entrambi i casi sigillano egregiamente, nel caso del vino frizzante anche a distanza di giorni dall'apertura la differenza è davvero minima. Per utilizzarli basta spingere il tappo bene fino in fondo e poi pigiare il pulsantone, a seconda di quando vino c'è nella bottiglia ci vorranno più meno pompate, ad esempio con la bottiglia mezza piena mi bastano una decina di pompate. Per togliere il tappo si può anche premere il pulsante fino in fondo e l'aria viene rilasciata nella bottiglia. Tramite la serigrafia è anche possibile impostare un giorno da 1 a 31, cosi ci si ricorda il giorno in cui si è aperta la bottiglia. La spedizione è stata come di consueto impeccabile, il packaging è gradevole e lo rende idoneo anche nel caso si voglia fare un regalo. In relazione al rapporto qualità prezzo mi trovo soddisfatto del mio acquisto. Mi auguro che questa mia recensione possa tornare utile ad altre persone.

Benutze ihn jeden Tag und selbst festsitzende Korken lassen sich mit dem Korkenzieher aus stabilem Kunststoff leicht entfernen. Die beschichtete Metallspindel lässt sich sehr leicht eindrehen, der Korken zieht sich durch drehen des Griffes kinderleicht heraus und kann auch leicht aus dem Gehäuse entfernt werden. Auch den Folienschneider finde ich sehr gut, da man ohne Verletzungsgefahr die Folie von der Flasche entfernen kann. Außerdem gehört noch ein Ausgießer und ein Vakuumstopper zum Set. Aufgrund der schönen Verpackung auch gut als Geschenk geeignet. Fazit: Gute Qualität und sehr gute Handhabung zum günstigen Preis.
