Every marigold sprouted, grew into a healthy viable plant and are now transplanted along with the tomatoes into their garden. I'm very pleased. I have an excellent companion plant for the tomatoes and the green, goldenrod and red colors that will follow in the garden are a nice bonus. Just a trick for home gardeners who occasionally experience poor germination rates: Though seeds can remain viable for a very long time it is best to toss any left over seeds and start fresh each spring.
