OGX (Thick & Full) Biotin & Collagen Shampoo + Conditioner 19.5oz, Duo-Set

First and foremost: this is NOT a regrowth treatment or system. Some comments and reviews say things about new hair growing. I can't say that they're lying or misinformed, but I cannot condone going into this purchase believing that that's what you'll get out of this. Both bottles specifically say "creates the APPEARANCE of thicker, fuller, healthier-looking hair." And that it does! My too-blunt mother remarked that my hair looked nicer after even like, a week of using the shampoo and conditioner. This is the woman who, since I turned 20, foisted various expensive hair thickening treatments and systems which all required way too much time and continuous purchasing on me and inadvertently cut away my self esteem while trying to "help" me by remarking on my thinning hair. So you know, that's a pretty decent review in favor of OGX. $20 bucks and no maintenance has done for me what $100 treatments and high maintenance couldn't. I can't say the photo comparison is totally fair because my hair is parted a bit differently, but I think you can see it working more toward the back of my head. The black shirt photo was taken on January 3rd, 2018. The blue shirt photo was taken June 7th, 2018. I use it 5 times a week (Monday - Friday, weekends I typically do a dab of dandruff shampoo and Suave deep conditioner). Even if you don't necessarily see a difference, you can definitely feel it. Running my hands through my hair used to feel like nothing. I can actually feel some weight and resistance now. If you don't have much hair to begin with, you aren't going to get much out of this. It's only supposed to thicken your existing hair, so it can't thicken what isn't there. If you're looking for REGROWTH, you'll have to look elsewhere because despite some other comments, I can't recommend this for something it doesn't actually mention doing. If you're just trying to give what you already have a boost, then I would totally recommend this. I wish it gave me a totally full, lush head of hair, but it does exactly what it says it does, and it's easily worked into your regular routine, so I don't see a reason to give it less than 5 stars.

I absolutely LOVE this shampoo and conditioner!! It smells so good, lathers up really well and makes my hair softer than it’s ever been! I have used salon brand shampoos and conditioners for years and they are nothing like this shampoo and conditioner. I totally recommend this shampoo and conditioner. Oh and it’s a great price for such a great product.

Listen up guys and gals, because this stuff is here to make you love your hair again. Mileage may vary, but here's my info: thick medium length hair, color treated consistently for 10 years including bleaching and die jobs, professional and from a box, natural texture is wavy to curly. For MONTHS I have been trying different shampoos and conditioners and could not stop feeling like my hair was ALWAYS dry and breaking off. As in, put on shampoo, rinse out, feel strawlike, try to fix it with conditioner, still dry, leave in treatments, the works. I finally researched this brand on a suggestion from a friend and decided to give this pair a try. It is simply fantastic. I shampoo starting and the roots and to the tips, then condition tips-only, yet my entire head of hair feels fully moisturized. It smells like warm sugar. I'm finding the quantity I have to use to work up the perfect suds and work through my lengths is less than other brands. And an otherwise un-tameable mane has become much easier to brush through and style day to day. To make a comparison to another, much more expensive brand, this has had similar effectiveness to me as Deva Curl. Another friend gifted me a trial set of that, but I found it was too expensive to justify as my everyday solution. As I do not have ultra-curly hair this may not be as perfect of a match for girls who do, but this is only the second brand I've ever tried that does so well for my hair and I'm ready to shout it at anyone who will listen. Buy it. Try it. Trust me.

Looking for a good set for my thinning hair I came across this set which contains biotin and collagen. Not having sulfate in it is a plus as it maintains the natural oil in hair and leaves hair moisturized which is great for frizzy hair like mine. It leaves hair shiny and volumized after each wash. The conditioner works great for long hair and doesn't leave hair oily and scalp feels moisturized after each wash. For those with a sensitive scalp, this set was not harsh on my sensitive scalp. Overall, it seems like a decent shampoo!

I love the Thick and Full Biotin and Collagen products. I experienced a reaction to post operative medication 2.5 years ago and one of the results was significant hair loss. My hair has been s l o w l y recovering since, but it was depressingly thin. I came across this line in October of '17 and decided to give it a try. It is now March of 2018 and not only has my hair recovered from the hair loss, it has made a noticeable difference in the overall fullness and condition of my hair. I have much less regular hair loss.

Definitely noticed a difference in my hair after using these products! People have told me my hair looks healthy and grew much faster. I love the smell and how soft it makes my hair feel when my hair dries. Doesn't make your hair feel dry or oily.

It's one of the best shampoo and conditioners on the market that I've found without the exception to most out there.

I first loved this shampoo for the way it made my hair feel so full and thick. It was soft and loved the scent but as I kept using it (for about a month and a half) it kept leaving a waxy film on my hair and my moms hair as well since we both use the same shampoo &conditioner. Also not sure if it it has happened to anyone else but at the bottom of my shampoo bottles there was a jelly substance which I found so weird.

I ordered this and only got the shampoo. The item was also bruised and some of the contents was pouring out.

I ordered one bottle of shampoo and one bottle of conditioner but I received two bottles of shampoo. The manufacturer offered to take 30% off the price but it doesn't change the fact that I don't have the conditioner. I won't be sending back the extra bottle of shampoo; it is simply too much trouble. A bottle of conditioner should have been shipped to me free of charge to make up for the mistake. The shampoo is of good quality; can't comment on the conditioner because I don't have it.
