Worked very well in replacing handles on four old Chicago Cutlery wooden handled steak knives. Use 5/32" diameter through holes and 5/16" diameter countersink to make rivet heads flush with handles. Make sure rivets are not too long by carefully measuring prior to squeezing/tapping the male and female ends together. No second chances with the same rivets as they would need to be destroyed by drilling out for removal.

I used them for a sewing box project I was working on. They went together nicely and are holding very well. They look good too.
