YOU "CAN" STEER WITH IT without having to use the stick on your controller to steer!
LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! I read a review where someone said that you couldn't use this wheel like you do when you play with the Wii. I have a Wii, and I know that all you do is insert your game controller and you can steer without having to use any of the buttons on the controller. SAME EXACT THING FOR THIS WHEEL for Mario Kart! All you have to do is get into the setting of "the game" and choose "smart steering & tilt controls" and you can steer just like the Wii wheel. I couldn't find this wheel ANYWHERE, until now and I'm thrilled I got it! Been having loads of fun!! A MUST HAVE for Mario Kart fans!

More harm than fun.
This wheel is more frustrating than useful. Originally thought it would be similar to the Wii steering wheel and I couldn’t have been more incorrect. Just use the regular controller and safe yourself the money and trouble.

Does what it’s supposed to do HOWEVER….
I don’t really have any complaints about the product itself. The product does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It makes you feel like you’re holding a steering wheel and when you use motion controls with the joy cons, it works pretty flawlessly. However, keep in mind that if you’re getting this for a small child which I’m assuming a lot of parents are, The wheel makes it much harder for the kids to reach the buttons on the joy cons with their fingers. So if there’s ever a button input, they need to press or just using the analog stick it can be a challenge for little kids with very small hands. Other than that, the product works really well.
