It smells nice, and I like the peace of mind that it leaves fewer chemicals on my dishes. It doesn't bubble/suds as well as your regular dish soap (Dawn), and it doesn't work quite as well on the really tough greases and stuck on food. But, for an everyday dish soap to use on dishes that are just regular dirty, I think it's totally sufficient. Because it is a substance that does not need to revealed in the MSDS for non-personal products, finding a product that is truly free of it can be a very involved process. Eco-Me was one of the few companies I found that didn't use it in any of their products; additionally, although some of the categories can be a little non-specific (e.g., "essential oils"), the ingredient list is far more informative and complete than it is for typical dishwashing detergents (when they have an ingredient list at all). Enough of all that, you're thinking - does it WORK? Yes, it works really well! It produces a nice level of suds and cuts grease well.
