My glass screen protector sits slightly inside the edges of the screen. It now sits 1mm inside the new case edge. I had an OtterBox on this ipod touch for several years. The Otterbox protects the face more, but is bulkier, heavier and now costs $15. I found the Otterbox rubber flaps that cover the earphone & power holes annoying. They broke off anyway. I got this case for $5. Now it sells for $6. I will gladly replace the glass screen protector earlier in order to have this nice slim case. My charging cable fit fine. The headphone hole may be a too small for some plugs. I used a rotary tool to widen it slightly. It's stiffer than I was expecting which brings a feel of quality. Only thing, I wish was different is the circle hole in the back where the lanyard thing is supposed to go - I would have preferred no hole since I don't use the lanyard.
