I knew this wasn't a heavy duty item, but only wanted to use it for a garage sale so I thought it would be good enough. But the two rods are so close together that there is no room for the hangers if they are side by side (now I see the pictures in the item description never show hangers on both rods at the same time). You can put one rod up all the way and the other down all the way and there is just enough room clothes on both with one above the other, though the bottom one has to be so low the clothes touch the ground. But once clothes are on the weight makes the rods sink down, no matter how much we tightened them. The whole unit is so flimsy that it can't hold two rods of clothes anyway. I only lightly loaded only one rod and still it swayed all over and the wheels broke right away. I could have bought 4 of the cheapo single racks at Walmart for less money and would have had 4 times the usable rod space.
