Munchkin® Spotless™ Silicone Placemats for Kids, 2 Pack, Blue/Green

These were PERFECT for playdough center at school. The slightly raised edge gives a boundary. They are easy to wipe down and stay in place when in use. To store, roll them al together.

We ended up buying three sets (6 mats) for the sake of having enough to match the whole family at the dinner table. I tried a couple other "nice-looking" mats that advertised as non-slip, but none of them ACTUALLY held onto our smooth table surface at all. So, we keep a nicer set for when we have guests. But for all our family meals, breakfast lunch and dinner with just us, we use these. It's been a few weeks now and they don't show any sign of wear. They wipe down really easily (or rinse in the sink if I let something get hard/dried on..), and they are QUITE slip-resistant. So, that's a win for us. The only down-side I'd say is that I wish they had a hole in the corner design or a tab for the purpose of hang-drying them. For when I DO need to rinse down the entire mat, then both the front and back side are wet, and it makes it quite difficult to dry them. I lay them over the back of a chair, and then after the top is dry, I turn them over to dry the underside, and THEN I roll them all up to put them away.

This product is definitely slip resistant, however it is not fully toddler proof. My child was able to peel it off and throw his food around. This may be more suitable for children who are old enough to not play with their food, in which case it would be great to catch crumbs and other meal time mess and make for easy clean up. This product can be folded up easily for storage as well as to take to a restaurant. Good quality and comes in fun colors. I’ll be using this more once my child grows out of his exploration phase!

Loved these until one got a hole and my toddler ripped it. Held the dishes from sliding. Stuck to the table well and stopped spills and was easy to clean.

We needed some placemats for our kids and they needed to be thin yet durable enough. We have bought several of these over the years from nearby stores but many stopped carrying this particular brand. So when we saw amazon had it we flew to grab these again. They are durable, foldable, easy to clean, easy to place down and stick to our tables (1 oakwood like table and another childrens table that they are able to use magic erasable markers on, these silicones stick right to that table without curling!) It has the little edge around it to keep spilled liquids from rolling onto the table which we love.

Easy to clean . Just thinner than expected

This review has taken years to make and I honestly had forgotten about coming back until recently. I got this for my toddler when she was ready to get out of her high chair and onto the dining table. These work so well that I feel like I've not appreciated them as much. But after several years of washes, they are still "sticky" at the bottom, still easy to clean, and still saving us from crumb clean up. We even use it for the kids when they play with kinetic sand. Easy to clean up, wipe up and gives my toddlers a clear area of where they can and cannot put food. Only pointer is: don't place the kid's drink on them. My kiddos are curious and sometimes pull at the mat which has caused drinks to spill. We avoid this by placing the drink to the side of the mat.

These are good silicone mats. Keep in mind, silicone mats are different than a "traditional" placemat you're used to. They're grippy and not as easy to wipe clean on the table as a plastic mat, but they can be scrunched up which makes cleaning it in the sink easier. The fact that it grips is good because it doesn't slide all around the table, but it's also a good attractant of particles and hair. I've used a lot of different placemats but I like this one the best because it's easy to pick up and fold (especially if there's spilled food) and then dump into the trash or put in the sink to wash it. Drying these is harder than plastic since the towel tends to grip on the surface, so I highly recommend just letting it air dry and the best way to achieve this is to hang it on something. I have a drying rack and even threw one over the spout of the sink to dry. I would love an XL version of these mats because they're too small especially for toddlers who can't contain their food to a relatively small rectangle.

We love these mats! We had another brand but my child would have no problem pulling them off and chucking them to the floor. These guys actually seem to stay on my table. They clean well, roll up well for storage, and do exactly as promised. I’ve got a set of twins now, and once they start eating I’ll be buying more. They fit very nicely on a high chair tray table as well. We’ve also taken them to restaurants and instead of ordering another plate, which my child would have tossed to the floor- we pulled out one of these mats and put the food directly on it. I kept a large ziplock bag in my diaper bag to transport a dirty mat home, for deep cleaning.

By far one of the best products I’ve got for my son to use when we go out

Perfect for keeping on kitchen table and they dont move about easily. Also great to roll up and take out with you. Wipe clean. Lovely colours
