Flexible as well as strong! *by H***H on Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2015* It is not as good as some other similar products out there. The cover doesn't fit the iPad mini snugly. The end away from the stand is flimsy and keeps separating away from the iPad if pulled. I have another product for my iPad Air-2 from another manufacturer. I am very satisfied with that one, however Afranker product seems a bit poorer. First of all the material is a bit slippery as opposed to the other one. Also, there is a grove on the back of the cover, I am not sure what is the purpose of that, in fact it is not a good idea because now water or other fluids might enter the back (inside between iPad and cover) of the cover and damage the iPad. All these defects are not true for the cover from another manufacturer. However, I must say that if I did not have experience with the other similar cover from another manufacturer, I would have given higher rating for Afranker product. I think I am being harsh due to the fact that I am comparing the two products!Update: i am going to change my review to give it full 5 stars!! This case has been great since I have bought it. The reason for which I gave it lesser rating is the same reason for which I would like to applaud it! Since the case is a bit flexible on the sides, it actually makes it easy to be removed for cleaning the case as well as the iPad whenever needed. It's practically perpendicular to the surface you place it on. So any slight bump to the table (which toddlers have been known to do) send the pad falling forward. Maybe after some use, the foam will soften and that will allow the iPad to lean back a bit more. We will see. The Ipad Mini 2 that our son uses has the cracked screen and chipped edges already. I was looking for something he could use to carry the Ipad around and also double as a stand. It works great for these purposes. It is more of a rubber material and has held up to minor drops so far. It does not look like it will protect the screen too well if it falls face down.
