Very Impressive!
I just received this today, (6-8-24) and I already can tell how much that I like this machine. I am 71 years old, 5'-11", 190 lbs., I used to be in good shape but not doing as much as I used to, I have gotten to where my joints hurt when I squat, up and down. I used to also exercise, but I stopped that, I am REALLY hoping that this will get me to at least get enough cardio (I know, very little) to get up and get on my treadmill. Anyway, as soon as I got it, I started pedaling away, it is as effortless as one could ever hope, too. I pedaled for probably 20 minutes while I was online reading, and when I stopped, I was surprised. I could feel that it was working on my thighs and my calf areas, it wasn't like I did a strenuous workout, b ut I could feel that the blood was being pumped into places that it forgot all about! :) When starting, I did find out that by pedaling like a bicycle, that felt awkward, so I started pushing the 'pedals' forward, rather than trying to push them down as I would on a bike. If that doesn't make sense, just know to try different ways, you'll get a feel for it, I'm sure. So, with that said, with it being right underneath my computer desk, which I actually have the room for, I can't see that I would not use it. I mean, I'd have to REALLY be lazy to come up with an excuse to avoid it, like I am known to do. Using it, I wondered if it was going to slide, but on carpet, it doesn't, I have not used it on tile. If it does, I would suggest to place a small rug underneath. It does have rubber feet on the bottom, so I am pretty sure it won't slide on tile or slicker flooring. The new faux wooden flooring is usually actually kind of 'grippy', so it should work out well on that. It's as quiet as they say, it makes ZERO noise as far as i can tell. Like I said, it's effortless when pedaling, I have it on the easiest because starting out on the HIGH was just not as fun. It's not like I am a doddering old man type, it's just that I have gotten lazy, that's all. So, as time goes on I am sure that I will creep up the tension, or, not, it really probably doesn't matter. I mean, on the least tension is fine, it still gives you a slight bit of cardio, even barely pedaling, it's not much, but it's more than I'd get sitting here not doing anything. I can see this is perfect for older people, I mean, it's as easy as you can get, and, it will get the job done. The main thing that it is slightly heavy for older people, I didn't have any trouble, but if a person has a bad back or knees, or, whatever, they may need someone to help them get it in the PERFECT place and then just leave it there. Anyway, a long story short, I don't foresee any problems with the machine itself, but if something does come up, I will update this.

Amazing!!!Buy it!!!
This beautiful little machine (along with my own self-discipline and a calorie deficit) has made me lose weight and gain strength and confidence!!! I might say this little machine has saved my life in a lot of ways! I was skeptical, but the other reviews got my hopes up so I ordered it, and soooo glad I did!!! I was 100% sedentary!!! It really works!!!! This was exactly what I needed and I will continue to use it everyday! As I get stronger I can add other forms of exercise!!! If you have any doubts, take my advice and get it! Perfect for overweight/obese/sedentary/knee arthritis! Chefs kiss! Thank you for making this machine affordable and allowing me to change my life!

Sit-down elliptical for sedentary jobs
Purchased to force-function some exercise while seated in front of the computer 8-hours per day, five days per week. It arrived timely and intact, requiring no assembly. It fit easily under the desk and has grippy feet to reduce movement on the floor. Because my floors are LVP, it did slide with some pushing so I put a box between the front and the wall to keep it firmly in place. The pedaling does result in some noise as the 'flywheel' moves, though there is no motor or other sounds. The resistance knob allows for increasing the challenge and benefit of the workout. At $117, it was expensive but less so than other brands. It does not have blue-tooth so the workout has to be manually recorded in whatever app one uses for exercise tracking. It has a battery-operated display of distance, time, and calories but I don't use that part. I focus on time and heart rate, which I track through an Apple Watch. I would recommend for those who want to trial something to ensure they will use it before investing in a more expensive device, which was my motivation. I have learned that I will use such a device and plan to keep using this one until it dies or I am able to peddle quickly at the top resistance for 30 minutes without an increase in heart rate. I do recommend it and, if I had to replace it due to maxing out resistance or breakage, I would buy something similar with blue-tooth technology. For beginners or those who don't want to spend $300 on a desk elliptical, this is a good option.

Easy to use; Great Quality; Excellent Value; Reliable Use; Better than I Expected!!!
Setting up the Sunny Health & Fitness unit: I am so THRILLED that I did not spend over $300 on the expensive more advertised version of this machine made by a different company. I'd have paid for their advertising and glossy box but would not have gotten the great product that I received today (at least it could not have been better). The large box was delivered in 2 days (thank you Amazon Prime) and there was NOTHING to put together! YES! All I did was get rid of the packaging and put it on a mat on the floor (I have tile floors and everything slips on them, so a kitchen rug under the exerciser worked). Note: there is a clear strip of plastic you need to pull out of the side of the digital meter to allow it to start working. That I didn't notice at first but that was the extent of setup. It was wonderful. Now about my experience in using it: I sat in my low comfy leather couch in front of my tv and put my feet into my new Sunny Health & Fitness unit. I didn't bother to adjust the dial/meter whatever it is, I just started peddling and off I went. It was a little harder than I wanted to peddle so I turned the resistance dial down and off I peddled again. It was great, I watched tv sat on my comfortable couch and exercised. No muss no fuss no problems at all. THE PROS: Price: $100 as opposed to $250 to $350. This unit is a real savings. Setup: There is nothing to set up but don't forget that little plastic strip. Quality: Right up there with the other more expensive products (I have had an opportunity to use my friends more expensive exercise machine and really not a bit better). It is also built very solidly, I'm very impressed. Do put a rug under it, any machine like this needs something to keep it from slipping (yoga mat, kitchen floor rug anything). Warranty: It comes with a company warranty of 1 year frame and 180 days (6 months) parts warranty. Other companies come with 1 year 90 day warranties or less. Of course you can buy an additional warranty if you feel the need for a few dollars when you check out but it's important to know that this company stands up for its product better than other companies. CONS: Uhm ..... none yet. I've only researched this for months and had it for a short while. I will have to return to this review in 3 and 6 months (May 2020, Aug 2020), to update this product review and let you know how this product does. IN SUM: This is an affordable 5 star product that I highly recommend to everyone!

Wonderful supplement to one's daily exercise regimen
I spend too much time at my desk and even though I do get to the gym most days, I find it's just not enough to keep the weight off. So why not utilize those idle hours to burn a few extra calories? After a bit of research, I settled on this model, the Sunny SF-E3872 under-desk elliptical. It is designed to be operated while seated; there are some other similar looking ellipticals that can be used from a standing position, but this one specifically warns against standing, so bear that in mind. It did take a bit of experimentation to get it positioned correctly. My particular desk is too low for my knees to operate the machine so it has to stick out a bit, and I have to sit back a bit from the desk. I finally put something behind the elliptical, wedged against the wall, and now the device juts out a little from under the desk and is just right. Meanwhile, I put rubber coasters under my office chair's wheels, to try and stop it sliding back, but I do occasionally have to slide it forward again. I even attached a metal handle to the front of the desk, to have something to stabilize myself when exercising more vigorously. One other mod that came in handy: I attached a cheap LED rocker light just under the front of the desk, so I can quickly check the calorie display. When I first got this machine, I used all the defaults: medium difficulty, scan mode. The scan mode shifts every few seconds from speed to time to calories burned. If you long press the button, it resets everything to zero; I usually do that once a day. You can move it off scan mode by tapping the button, then keep it on time or calories which is what I prefer. It's quiet. After 2-3 weeks, though, it started making a creaking sound, so I put a bit of 3-in-One household oil on each wheel, and it went back to being whisper-quiet. Also, I like to vacuum the area every couple of days, because of my obsessive-compulsive nature; don't want a buildup of grit and stuff clogging the mechanism. Other than that...not much to say. I've been using it every day for about a month and it's been great! I recommend it. If anything changes, I'll modify this review but so far, steady as she goes. ONE YEAR UPDATE: Okay, not quite one year, more like 11 months! I'm still using this machine several times a week and it still works great. In fact I'm pedaling it right now as I type and it's whisper-quiet. One improvement was to install casters with brakes on my office chair (it took a while to find good ones but Amazon came through!). Now, the chair stays put (almost too much so in fact so you have to literally lift the chair to move it) and this makes the elliptical easier to use with little distraction. I still oil it approximately every 3-4 weeks to keep it running quietly. It is still using its original battery, amazingly. I can still recommend this machine and if I am ever commuting to work again, I might get a second one for on site. And yes, I would still buy this one again. By the way, they have a couple of youtube videos explaining how to use which are worth viewing.

Disabled approved
This machine really fits the purpose I ordered it for, I have an auto immune disease and I can no longer walk well, much less exercise. I needed something to move my legs for me and it does that very well. I tried a different under desk elliptical, and it was meh. The main issue was my feet didn't stay on, bad straps bad platforms blah blah The Sunny Health elliptical, like night and day, first off the heel cup on the back of the platforms, perfect. Literally what I was looking for, I felt like I scrolled through a million models before I found this one. The straps are great, actually work They're also wide to help spread out the pressure if you need to really strap your feet down so they don't move For the smart model they really highlight the app and everything and as far as I can find, they don't have any actual exercise plans for this model, just more conventional ellipticals and when I tried to use one anyway, the app didn't want to connect to my machine. BUT they have these 'world tour' workouts where someone has walked/biked/skied/etc, filmed their pov and it's paired with gps data so you have something to watch and it speeds up and slows the machine down as you pedal which is nice. Also, the frame is steel, so it should really last vs others that seem to be mostly plastic

Mostly minor flaws, but it's an OK item.
So all in all, it's working. Not great, but working. Convenience is a thing, and having this under my desk during the day keeps my legs moving quite a bit. The size is good, the adjustment knob is easy to use, and the time/distance tracking is great. The foot "pads" are open on top, so one-size can fit all. The carry handle is very appreciated too! BUT... There are some design flaws (in my view). 1. The rubber caps on the ends of the back rail are not adhered, so they slide off easily. Using this on carpet means that if you don't see those caps slip off, you won't be ready when the whole unit shifts position. If you buy this, slide the caps off, slather the inside with glue, and slide them back on 1-2 days before you want to start using this. 2. The wheels are on a flat plate, not a groove or track. So if you don't press STRAIGHT you'll get some unexpected resistance, or noise, or sometimes it will just want to stop briefly. 3. Still on the wheels: They collect every bit of dust and dirt on the Earth. They get grindy and noisy and the smooth motion isn't so smooth. Under desk, this requires cleaning at LEAST daily. 4. Back to the base... The rear of the base (facing the user) has nothing to prevent it from sliding. Either add some "non-slide" shelf liner under it, or (as I'm doing shortly) mount the whole thing on a board with brackets that you can then lay on non-slide liner, brace to a wall or desk leg, etc. So I love using it, so don't get me wrong. But as is... There are annoyances as noted: Keeping it in place when using, and the wheels really do need more guidance to ensure smoother and quieter use. The dust/dirt thing is just an likely more of environmental thing, as I use mine in a workshop area, but if you have pet hair and whatnot, or use near an outer door or just going in/out between uses... just be aware you need to clean the plate/wheel area and wheels frequently.

Quality machine, better than the Cubii
Note: I previously had a Cubii Pro, it lasted barely a year. This one by Sunny is 100 times better. No assembly needed. Smooth and super quiet, and seems much higher quality than what I expected for the awesome price. You'll definitely get a good lower body workout if you pedal long enough on 3+ on the resistance knob. What I really don't understand is all the complaints on how heavy this is. It needs to be heavy-otherwise it would slide all around when using it. That wouldn't work! I have laminate flooring and I put this on a rubber mat with the front legs of a dining room chair also on the mat and this doesn't move at all. Quality built and I have no doubt I'll get my money's worth.

The Best Money I've Spent In A Long Time!!!
I have been pretty much a couch potato for the last fifteen years. Not that I was lazy but due to one medical condition on top of another. I just finished a two year bout of weeping edema where if I didn't remain in my recliner with my legs propped up, my legs would weep profusely. Just recently I was diagnosed with Osteoporosis. Ha! Surprise, surprise! My doctor suggested I return to the care of my friendly physiotherapist Sandy. It was during my appointment with Sandy that she suggested I get one of the sit down Elliptical Machines. So after scouring Amazon (my favorite shopping mall) I found the Sunny Health and Fitness Portable Elliptical Machine. The price was reasonable and it looked as though it was durable and would also do a good job for me. Plus it has been years since I have been able to do any sort of exercises so if I didn't stay with the exercise program, I wouldn't be out hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of dollars. The machine arrived the next day! Thank you Amazon! Well, the first day exercising was extremely difficult and painful for me. I was on the machine for two minutes. TWO MINUTES! and I had to take three breaks! But I was determined to give this little gizmo a decent try. So everyday I committed to sitting at the machine and forcing my legs to move. By the end of the first week, I was exercising three times a day for five minutes each time ( with breaks in between of course.) It's hard to explain what this machine has done for me. Not only was I actually exercising but my spirits were climbing in leaps and bounds. I actually look forward to exercising now. I just started week three yesterday and I am on this wonderful, miracle preforming machine, doing ten minutes without stopping to rest, three times a day and my husband has increased the tension up one notch.. I FEEL WONDERFUL!!! My feet and ankles don't hurt. My legs don't hurt and my back has only minimal discomfort. This little machine is going to give me back my life! My husband had to help me on and off the machine the first week but since then, I do it all myself, which means even my balance has improved. I know some of you might think I'm exaggerating, but I'm not. I have made a promise to myself that come September 2022, when I celebrate my 81st birthday I will be dancing with my hubby on some dance floor somewhere, or maybe just out on the street in front of our home. Either way...I will be dancing! As always, thank you Amazon and a big thank you to Sunny Health and Fitness for this wonderful, wonderful machine. For all you short folks out there this machine might take some getting use to. Because of the Osteoporosis I now stand a whopping 4ft 9inches tall (I use to be 5'2'') so my hubby and I really worked to find a comfortable distance between my chair and the machine, but once we found it he put a small piece of clear tape on the floor to mark exactly where the front legs of my chair should be when I am getting ready to use the machine. My legs are very short but I kept working to find the right spot for me to reach the foot pedals comfortably. The machine is quite heavy so I had my hubby place it off to the side of the TV and I will just leave it there, forever. ;) I now just pull a kitchen chair in whenever I am ready to do my exercises. One major thing that has happened to me is I am not having to use my cane 24 - 7 anymore. Again, my balance is improving. and my pain is diminishing. So five stars all around for Amazon and for Sunny Fitness for making this wonderful, wonderful machine. available to us and another five stars for me!!! I now love to exercise! Whoo Hoo! Happy peddling everyone!

Solide et bien concu.
Excellent produit.
