I'll probably start with the obvious, there are traces of musk and a light composition aiming for amber but the overwhelming smell is Nag Champa. Yes it's a great scent and probably fitting for a solid perfume but... it ain't "Amber", even less Musk, not even white Musk. Although it specifically states, solid perfume, it's clearly based on Amber Stone setup. Amber is at it's most basic setup, a combination of 3 basic scents aiming for a sweet with a pinch of lower bitter touch. The bases are labdanum, benzoin and vanilla, but traces of vetiver, honey, nag champa, styrax and others are usually added to manipulate the scent into a specific tone. I myself am a massive fan of ambergris and mhyrr (which being a resin, will also give consistency to the stone). The mix would be powdered and mixed with beeswax to form the so well known solid block, aka solid perfume as it was used eons ago. My verdict, it's a great well tuned scent, hence the 4 stars, but only if one likes nag champa. It disappoints if the expectancy aims to amber musk as a more earthy scent and less flowery. Curiosity: The sense of smell if the only sense that always improves with time, as it is based on memory, the more detailed memories are built over time, the more detailed scents are perceived.

Really nice as it's the original musk scent not like other scents that feel fake/different. It lasts for days but I wish if it was a tad bit stronger. I'll buy again
