I bought this because I'm running all Kato track in N scale, but I have several other power supplies that are larger and better than the one that Kato has to offer (no offense to Kato). I do like the power supply but I wanted a few more options that the standard one. I bought this to connect to a different power supply for track power and it does exactly what it should. Just connect up the wires to the track power supply and connect the other end to the Kato pug, and your in business. This took me maybe 5 minutes to install start to finish. I think it took longer for me to hide the cord that it did to hook it up and provide power to the track using a non-Kato power supply. I really didn't want to have to cut and splice wires to get the track to be powered with a non-Kato power supply, so this was a very quick and easy solution. Note: If forward and reverse are backwards from what you expected, swap the lines on the power supply.

自作のパワーパックにKATOのレールフィーダーを接続するために使っています。電線やラグ端子もしっかりしています。この手のケーブル類はTOMIXよりも安価なのですが、もう少し長さがあれば良いと思います。

Great item to add power from DCC to Kato Unitrack power hub for T-Trak modules. Simple to use and cheap in cost. One cord powers both tracks when using a feeder hub.
