Very easy to install. The only tool you may need is a channel lock to remove the old valve. Actually I spent more time removing the old leaky control valve than install the new one. The old flush handle would not free. I followed their suggestion of using a screw driver to free the handle, but that didn't work. I didn't want to take a chance of breaking the ceramic toilet tank. I broke off the shaft of the handle by torquing handle against the old valve body. After removing the handle, I used a channel lock to unscrew a locking nut and the rest came off quite easily. Cut off the tie wrap holding the tubings in place. Move the knobs away from the center and the tubes came off easily. There wasn't any instruction regarding which tube goes to which hole on the pressure tank. So I noted which tube goes to which hole and replaced the tubes in the same order as the old installation. Insert the tubes snug fit and lock them in place by moving the tube locking knobs towards center. Use tie wrap to lock them in place. Screw the valve body into hole in the toilet tank. Screw the lock hand tight. Snugly insert the provided handle.
