They shipped me a whole new one within days haven’t had an issue since ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy the used or damaged units. *by B***L on Reviewed in the United States on October 10, 2020* I tried to save $20.00 and bought the packaging damaged unit thinking that a torn or slightly crushed box was worth saving $20.00. I was wrong. When the wench arrived it was repacked in an amazon box. The original box was inside, it had some damage to it but didn't look too badly damaged. Upon opening the box the first thing I noticed was that the power terminals on the winch were bent at about a 30 degree angle. The rest of the contents packaging was not in too bad of shape but looked like it had been rolled down a hill for a quarter mile. I was going to return the winch as an exchange because of the damage to the power terminals, but Amazon would only credit back my account after receiving the winch back. So rather than going through all that hassle I decided to install it first to see if it functioned properly. It did not. While the winch itself did work the remote control unit did not, It would only operate in one direction. The winch does not have any information included with it to get replacement parts. so I order another remote control unit from a different manufacturer for $ 16.00. It works like it should. I should also mention that the remote control unit that came with the winch was very cheaply made and if you had to change the battery in it you could never get it back together. I am very disappointed , also the part that attaches fair head to the winch is missing.
