This is a great case. The quality is that of what you would expect from SKB. It is not too heavy and I appreciate the slim design. I'm not sure how long the wheels in the lid will hold up over time the wheels integrated. The wheels are fixed to the rest of the case with the four latches for the lid. If using heavy gear such as amps, I am curious to know how long until the plastic gives way. Thankful for their warranty. If full of amps I'm not sure I would go with this case, but lighter gear is worth it.

The best 4U rolling rack case. Lightweight but well built. The retractable handle does not reduce the space inside. It is built under the bottom and the casters are built into the back cover.

Bought a 3 of these for touring as part of a fly rig, 1 broke and waiting for warranty repair still.

This is a real big case, can help you to carry all your stuff safe. Only concern, it is heavy, but other than that... 100% recommended.

Love the case. Worked out great for a travel vMix rig. I added foam padding and extra shock absorbing layers to keep my equipment further protected. There was plenty of internal space for cable management and foam padding. Came with good screws and washers. The wheels made travel much easier.

I play professional and always buy pro quality gear. I have many SKB pro cases and never had any issues. However I pay all this money for what is supposed to be a PRO quality rolling case, only to find out it is poorly made and it terrible at rolling. Not only is this case not totally finished, where plastic scraps are hanging off the cuts and edges, the wheels are very rough rolling probably because of NO or BAD bearings and they are too small. I contacted the manufacturer only to get blown off. I have until March to return it to Amazon. So I'm waiting to see if SKB stands behind their product or continues to make excuses to me and make me jump through hurdles, or I return it for a refund. My OSP case that this replaced was way better built. I cannot endorse and recommend this case at this time. I will change my review depending on the outcome.

I’ve had mine from 2017 to 2021 as my only rack. It’s been a great tool, it took wear and tear pretty fast and I didn’t think it would have lasted this long. I think I’ve heard of people replacing the wheels. There are rubber stoppers on the bottom so you don’t scratch the case. They wear out too! I would travel anywhere with it. I’m too afraid to fly with it I got some pretty heavy gear in the case. Bottom line, it’s very useful, even if it won’t last forever!
