Review: Not the cheapest, but the cheapaer ones are just should not be. - After trying several under $200 projectors and being greatly disappointed with the performance of these, I have went for this one, AAXA P7 Mini Projector. And I immediately decided that I will keep this one. The size is pretty small. The picture where it sits on a hand, is probably of a hand of the 7' tall basketball player. That said, the projector still pretty small (trust not the picture, but the dimensions mentioned). The picture quality is pretty good and worth the $349. It is as sharp edge to edge as it can be. Note that this is a projector, and the picture will not be as sharp as on an LCD monitor, this applies to any projector even if it is several thousands of dollars (I am working in Pro AV and have installed anything from $1000 to $30000+). So the sharpness or focus-ability of the image is quite good. It is important to note that the optimal focus is attained when NOT using the keystone feature. So do all you can to use as little keystone as possible, better not at all. If you use keystone, the image will get blurrier near the top or bottom or both. Also do not just project on a wall, use a projection screen. Even a cheap screen is already better than a textured wall. The noise of the projector is pretty loud, but it has to be in a projector that small that uses the LED lights. If you want a quieter projector try laser ones, but that will be a much larger package and a much more expensive one. For a portable LED projector, this is not bad. Of course, if you use the "Bright" mode, the fan will be noisier than even I find acceptable. On a "normal" setting the noise is just about bearable. I had to tweak the color temperature setting and the image settings to get the wanted hue, out of the box it was a bit into the blue for me, but this is subjective. Sound quality of the audio in the projector is what you'd expect from the size maybe even better. It is certainly louder than I expected... But keep in mind, these are 1" or so speakers in there, expecting HiFi is pretty ridiculous, but the audio as good as from a majority of inexpensive blue-tooth speakers of that size. The brightness of the image on "normal" is on par with any of the $99 projectors maybe a bit brighter, but the image uniformity, color, and sharpness are better beyond comparing. The $99 even $199 projectors are complete garbage comparing to this one. Basically anything with mechanical keystone adjustment is a garbage... I have tried several. Also note that this one is DLP which has more chance to produce a good quality image than LCD with a random light source such as found in these projectors and DLP costs extra. The tripod is a throw in, but it is adequate to be used with a small camera or your smart phone (bracket needed). For the projector, it is quite dreadful. Remote control is meh... All in all, this is the same kind of package that you'd get for $99 from elsewhere at desertcart in a plethora of cheap projectors, but this one actually produces a picture that is fairly crisp and has a good color. I guess it is fair to pay $250 extra for the DLP picture quality and native 1920x1080 resolution. Oh yeah, this also has a battery that lasts about 2 hours on normal brightness. Not that I use this feature, but it is kind of cool to take it camping and have a movie night (note that you will need a power inverter to power this up or at least charge for a next night movie). $349 is quite a bit of money, but you want that 1080p resolution for games and even movies and you get the DLP. And it is pretty small. I think it is priced just about right. If this was $399, I would have not bought it. But if it was $299, I would have called it a steal.
Review: Best pico projector I have owned - I have tried a number of compact projectors for my bedroom and most on the market are dim and low res. There are some Chinese projectors with reasonably good spec but the one I bought (XGIMI H2) broke after 2 days of use. And returning it was a pain in the ass as I didn't order through desertcart. Anyway, I wanted something with around 500 lumens and 1080p, doesn't break the bank, portable (for use during trips) and reasonable customer support. The P7 ticks every box. The P7 is compact with very decent brightness for its size. It has 2 brightness settings at 400 and 650 lumens. 400 is definitely bright enough for me in a dark room and 650 is more suitable if you have a few lights on. The picture quality is great. Full HD resolution means the picture and text remains sharp when viewing at a screen size of 100 inch. I can't sense any motion blur and the color is quite accurate (though it still can't compare to a dedicated 4K TV, but we are talking about a 400 dollars pico projector here). AAXA even provided a firmware update to fix the red (to some degree) which looked more like magenta when I first used it. Full marks for AAXA's customer support. Although I didn't specially measured it, I didn't feel any input lag when I played Smash Ultimate or Mario Kart on my Switch. This is really a nice surprise. Now I can game on a 100 inch screen on my bed! :D The speakers are serviceable and loud enough but I hooked it up with an external sound bar for better enjoyment. The only real complain I have is the noise of the fans. Using a decibel app on my phone I got about 40-42 dB when the projector is at 650 lumens and in the mid 30s when it's at 400 lumens. Because of the way I have it set up, the P7 is very close to me and I can definitely hear the fan, especially during quieter scenes in a movie, but I don't really notice the fans most of the time. The P7 strikes a great balance between price and performance!

A: I know that there are 3rd party companies that can make this happen for you if contacting aaxa directly does not do the trick. These third party companies will give you an address where you can ship this item and they will receive it and then ship it to you for a small fee.

**Q: Hi,Does it has a 3D Blu-ray function on it,thanks**
A: Nope

**Q: Is there a warranty on this product? If so, how long?**
A: There is a 1-year manufacturer's warranty on all new AAXA projectors.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best picture for the price!
*by C***L on March 1, 2019*

Where to start?! I’ve tried many pico and portable projectors in the last few years. This one is by far my favorite. Pros: Picture is very sharp and clear Sound is adequate. Loud enough for gaming and quiet rooms for movies. Got the screen up to 100 inches on the battery and the 400 lumens really are cutting it. I have a 2000 lumen Epson and it compared very well. The hdmi has no noticeable input latency. This was the issue with other projectors. No gaming possible. But the little guy gave me no issues. I was able to compete online in smash brothers and win without issue. The built in media player plays every media file I tried. No issues there. I paired with a fire stick and had a smart projector in no time. The onboard usb will power a fire stick. The battery was great. Watched incredibles 2 and some of Infinity war and played smash for 25 minutes. Lasted longer than the estimated 1.5 hours. Can’t recommend enough. Keystone works well. Easy to square up wherever I placed it. Cons: Sound could be beefier Picture has a purple/red hue that I can’t correct. I will dive into color setting more and update but so far it’s just what you see in the picture. It’s passable. The incredibles was on my kitchen wall at sunset about 50 inches. Looked fine. Smash brothers was over 100 inches on a screen in a black room. Really awesome but the corners in the right were a bit blurry. Probably also keystone issue. Last problem. The focus wheel, it’s not automatic and that’s ok. But the wheel clicks in different positions and I couldn’t find the sweet spot very easily. You won’t regret this one. My new favorite. I’ve had other aaxa’s. A riff 6 cube. A nebula Mars. Beats all of them.
