So Far So Good.🏊🏼♀️ 💧
Okay, prepare for a long detailed review and everything you need to know about this pool. 6/26/24 At first, I was very skeptical about whether to purchase this pool because of the reviews. I have seen some bad reviews on it.. yet some good ones. The day it got delivered was today. As you can see in the photo I provided it was in okay condition, but everything inside was still intact and safe, with no damage. I have seen lots of bad reviews on how there were holes, I did not see any holes, but it was completely fine. Pricing and what came included: I would say it was worth the price for this big size of a pool plus with what it came with. I got the 15x42. It can fit about 8 or more people.. you can even throw a little pool party if you want too. This pool came with a few necessities, a ladder, filter pump, ground tarp, and pool cover. Set Up and its Process: It took about 2 1/2 hours. It took about 3 people to help. Me + my 2 sisters. We started around 12:30pm, finished around 2 pm, and started filling up the pool around 2:30. As I'm writing this review it is almost somewhat filled. I added another photo there and it was around 8 pm. The process overall was very easy, it was just a lot to do since the pool is pretty big. So far no leaks are happening. Filter Pump + other problems people had with this product: We have not tried the filter pump yet but I have seen so many bad reviews about it. But overall we have had no problems with the pool. I will probably update on how the pool is a month later + add an update on the pump! It is worth the buy! 😊 Update 7/22/24: The pool is awesome and the pump works perfectly fine, at times it did stop working but I fixed it right away and it was back to normal. Unfortunately, there was a leak but due to something my parents moved and accidentally leaned it against the pool and ripped a bit but we were able to fix it with flex tape.

Simple Set Up, Priced right, Good Quality
Okay, let's get a pool, end of Summer for 1 event. Sure. We chose this one & so glad we did because it was a good find. First thing, dont get rushed & not buy sand. Its essential for ANY size pool. Place tarp on top of sand. Okay, by my self I unpacked it, did sand & tarp. I could have dont set up by myself but recruited the hubby which made ease of set up so much quicker. Total project time 2 hours with sand leveling. 1 hour just pool. Its well made and no missing items. Directions are clear & simple. Bought 2 XL floats and it was perfect for floating and relaxing. Functions for us perfectly, no steps needed, small pump, small area to clean. We got the pool to chill with other adults. It would good for younger kids or teens to just cool down on hot days. This pool setup is not big enough for grown people to swim but the cooling effect is awesome during heat wave. We used pump included and ran it on 10 hour cycle daily. Water clarity was perfect with pump & floating chlorine tablets container. Overall, best to set up with 2 for smoother set up. Recommend for families with younger kids or adults who just like to float. Im definitely impressed with quality.

The pool I got is great!
I don't know what has happened with other reviewers orders, but my pool is great so far. First, I want to explain that we live in the South and it's hot. My husband is currently deployed and I wanted a big enough pool for me and my dogs to cool off in, so we got the 14' x 42" one. I've already done so much yard work I didn't want to have to dig to level anything in the heat, so I picked a spot that looked relatively level. Now, the box says easy set up in 45 mins. This wasn't my case. It took me almost 3hrs to get everything sorted and put together. That last pipe frame connection was a doozy too. I kept adjusting the legs as it filled, knowing it would be a little unlevel. The next morning after it filled up, it was SUPER unlevel like structurally unlevel, so I drained it and knew I'd have to pick a new spot. I basically drug this big @ss pool across my sand dirt yard to set it up in a new location. Because I didn't take it apart, it only took an hour to get it all sorted and get all the wrinkles out. I did get a separate pool pad mind you, but there were zero issues with the pool liner itself. No leaks, tears, nothing. Especially after just abusing it like I did. The only things I don't like is the ladder has narrow steps that hurt my feet, the ground tarp is junk and smells horrid (I didn't use it), and the return flow going back into the pool aims upwards from the weight of the water in the hose; so it creates a waterfall effect (I guess could be considered a feature lol). It's only been up two days so far, but I haven't had any issues with it yet and we're already thoroughly enjoying it!

Great pool, weak pump, read for maintenance tips
The pool itself is sturdy and easy to set up and the 10'x30" size is great for my 4yo. However the pump it comes with is fairly weak and I realized after buying an Intex skimmer that it requires a stronger pump, making this pool difficult to keep clean. The pump filters also clog up quickly (mine only last about a week) and cost a couple bucks. You can spray them off to extend their life some, but it still adds up and they're a bit of a pain to replace. That said, I've learned a trick that works pretty well to both extend the life of the filters and make the skimmer somewhat effective. If you cap one of the two pump outlets and attach a skimmer to the other, stretch a skimmer sock (available on Amazon) over the floating blue skimmer insert, then hang it at an angle so that most of the sock is underwater, it does a pretty good job of collecting surface debris. This has also made my pump filters last much longer (it's been more than 2 weeks since I added the skimmer/sock setup and haven't had to even rinse the filter yet). You do have to rinse the skimmer sock off every day or so (I just lift it out and hose it off), but that's way easier than cleaning the filters. Also, I've dealt with a nasty algae bloom after the chlorine levels fell too far while we were out of town and it's a pain to recover from (you can see some remaining in my picture), so don't slack on your chlorine tablets/tests! I find that keeping a couple 1" tablets in the floater (sold separately) at all times is about right, but your mileage may vary so I definitely recommend getting a chlorine/ph test kit. It's way easier to prevent than remove algae, though if you do end up in this situation, adding a cup or two of bleach every day until the algae clears seems to work as a poor-man's "shock" (just be sure to wait to swim until the chlorine levels fall back into a safe range). Or, drain it, scrub it out good, and start over, though obviously you don't want to do this too often.

Huge decline in quality! Especially the bottom. Now leaking right after setup.
I’m shocked how much they decreased the quality! I’d rather pay $10-20 more for the same quality it was 2 years ago. 3rd pic is the one I bought May of 2023…you can see they changed the design. That one got destroyed last summer by a bad storm which is no fault of Intex. But this new quality is ridiculous and isn’t the prism supposed to be a bit better of a line than the regular blue ones? The bottom used to be the same exact material and thickness as the sides and it was very thick. Not only has the side material gotten noticeably thinner, the bottom is not the same. I felt how light the box felt and then how light the liner felt when I got it out. I thought there was something missing or that they packed the wrong liner because I remember how heavy and thick the last one was. You can see in the second pic how much the sun comes through the bottom. On the last one, no sun went through the sides or bottom. I was literally afraid to put this up and puncture it, it’s so thin. The bottom is now the same thinness as the cheap blowup pools from the dollar store for $20. What’s the point of having the nice poles when you go so cheap on the liner, your finger nail could rip it? So disappointing! I don’t see this being able to last past this year. Plus, I haven’t measured it but it also does not fit in the same indention as the last one. Several inches on all sides smaller. I don’t have the old anymore to measure but I’d guess it’s smaller too…even though they’re supposed to have both been 10ft. **edited after finishing the setup and filling with water today 6/1/25. Have to lower the rating again. Added 2 pics of leaking water. There is pooling water around it and I can’t find where it’s coming from. I’ve wiped away the water and these pictures were after that when the water pooled back into these spots. So it’s either leaking from the seams or somewhere on the very thin bottom. I’ve checked all the hose points and drain and they’re not leaking. I could live with the lower quality if it lasted the year but really?! Also, I have a tarp at the very bottom on the dirt then I have this very thick felt that’s used for huge above ground pools that I cut to fit. And then I just bought another brand new tarp to put on top of that. I opened and put it down the same time I set up the pool today.

Excellent Pool for the Family
Very happy with this pool. It is spacious, sturdy, and perfect for relaxing with the family. The setup was easier than expected, the material feels durable, and the filter system works very well. The size is great, the water stays clean, and it looks beautiful in the backyard. Definitely a great purchase for the summer and highly recommended. ☀️🏊♀️

Perfect for kids and adults
Second one bought. So easy to put up and the size is great. Can use over and over but at the price i'd rather just purchase a new one each year. Sturdy and good quality.

Great pool, great price
Item was delivered right to the door step, which was up a few stairs so kudos to the delivery driver! As for the pool, it is of good quality. Liner feels thick and sturdy. Everything was included in the package and went together pretty simple even with the basic instructions. Takedown at the end of the season was straightforward as well if you have some decent folding skills (or just check out YouTube for a folding tutorial). Pump has a good timer feature to turn it on and off at adjustable hourly intervals so it isn't running constantly. I liked that. Only thing that could use an upgrade is the hose clamps for all the filter piping are plastic and not very, let's say, clampey? I had to run out and grab a few metal hose clamps. I understand the idea behind using plastic so it doesn't rust, but they just don't really clamp tight enough to keep everything leak-free.

Perfect above ground pool
We have had several above ground pools over the years and this is our favorite, so far. A bit of work to get it set up and definately goes smoother with two people setting up. The finished product is great so far. Only been swimming in it a week so far, but it's great up to this point.

Nos salvó el verano
Fácil de montar y resistente. El inconveniente es el cartucho que lleva para limpiar. Muy pequeño, dura poco y se tapona con facilidad. La solución fue tener mas filtros de repuesto.

Easy to assemble!
I was very skeptical about this pool but it's really great. I was worried at first as the box arrived looking like it fell off the truck and rolled down a hill. Everything inside was well packed and in working order. One person can assemble but it wouldn't be as easy (especially for the first time). The pool went up very easy with two of us, directions were easy to follow but I needed my husband to attach the last piece as I didn't have the strength. It took a couple hours but would definitely be half the time next year. The pump didn't have great directions but it was doable. Having done it once, it will be very easy for next time. I wish the ladder was a bit sturdier but it works and it's easy to pull in and out of the pull (we pull it out for the night as we have young kids and it's just an extra precaution). We leveled the ground and put a thin layer of sand underneath (prior to reading the instructions not to use sand!). The pool has shifted about 2 inches because of this but is fine. All in all, a great buy!
