GE WB10X5226 27" Oven Door Hinge

Seller was helpful in confirming part match. Holes for screws at bottom of hinges were not threaded and while my screws from my old oven door assembly may have been self-tapping - for the right size holes - the holes in these hinges were too small. I drilled the holes to 11/64” and then screws could be inserted and were able to bite into the holes and be tightened to provide firm fixation. In spite of this unexpected adaption, hinges work so well, I give 5 stars.

These hinges gave new life to our G.E. Monogram range. The door on the 27” oven had not closed properly for years and had gotten worse. These parts were not inexpensive, but compared to the cost of replacing the unit, they were a good price. The installation went smoothly and adjusted well. I would recommend these parts.

The Hinge did the job but I had to tap the holes to get any screws to fit. I also weighed the original hinge against this one because it felt lighter. The original hinge weighed 409 grams compared to this one that weighed 389 grams. Hopefully it holds up as long as the original one did. I also feel it’s way overpriced. Should be more like $25, but it does work and there are few options available in the market since the original manufacturer stop producing them.

Worked when two other replacements didn’t

We have a GE Monogram Range/Oven and the door hinges have stretched over the 20 years we owned the oven. We started looking into replacing them and GE no longer makes the hinges. Thank goodness we found these. While a bit expensive, it was worth it to fix the only thing on the oven that wasn't still working perfectly. These were very easy to install and fit perfectly. Highly recommended.

My 20 year old GE Monogram 6 burner stove with convection oven was still in great working order except for springs on oven door were loose and not closing completely. The GE certified repair person came out and told me the springs were unavailable and they could not fix it. He did give me the part numbers which I looked up on Amazon and found a match. Ordered them and had the GE repair person out today and these were the right parts and my oven door is working like new.

I scheduled the appliance electrician for Tuesday and I ordered this piece on Friday late afternoon. Then on Saturday morning I wrote to the seller to help me to have the piece by Tuesday. After few hours I saw that the piece, original GE and well wrapped, was shipped. The fast delivery became super fast. My 20 years beautiful GE Monogram 36" range is now fixed and is working great. Happy and grateful. I recommend this seller and his products to everybody.
