Beck 1: Mongolian Chop Squad (Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad (Graphic Novels))

This story follows Yukio tanaka (koyuki to all his friends)who is a somwhat normal high school kid with no particualr hobbies and no drive. One day he helps out a strange dog thats being attacked by a group of kids when its owner turns up and so Koyuki meets Ryusuke minami and the two become friends.Ryusuke is a rock musician in a somewhat popular band but his band breaks up after some infighting. After hanging around with Ryusuke for a while Koyuki decides that he wants in on the rock scene and starts to lear to play guitar (hes not a bad singer either).This manga has lots of laughs and a bit of drama and romance, the art style is different whilst not being too different and the characters are great. reccomended for GTO (great teacher onizuka) readers.
