Wow!
I learned about these from the Great British Baking Show and was curious to try them. I didn't realize they were coming from the UK when I ordered them through Amazon, but....these are amazing! We were really blown away by the delicate nature of these little cakes. Yes, expensive...but what a fun adventure to experience them!

Definitely Exceeded my Expectations
The studiness of the packaging was a bit lacking; however, the product itself arrived undamaged. These cakes are delicious and moist. I was worried about them having sat in my mailbox all day in the heat, but no noticeable issues. I look forward to having these with my afternoon tea and will be ordering more for sure.

These were delicious but not too sweet unlike American dessert's which are swimming in sugar.
The flavor was excellent and the ingredients top notch in quality. Next time, I will buy a whole cake as I forgot the 5 mini Battenberg cakes I received were from across the pond where the portions are much smaller. I ate 3 after opening the package and the last 2 a few hours later. There only 3 inches long.

Finally found a market near by, so I don’t have to buy these from the UK anymore.

Expensive but good
Pretty fast shipping and came in very good condition. Great taste but I would only get them if you know you already love Battenburg and are looking for the nostalgia of having them at tea time. Otherwise, the pricing is a little rich for the quantity.

Arrived damaged completely squashed
Why did you pick this product vs others?: great flavor delicious! Package arrived squashed and cakes were damaged! The packaging was really bad ! Expensive for what you get! Despite the squashed product they were for me and I loved them ! Cake quality: Delicious but completely damaged packaging was really bad no protection for the cakes

Pretty tasty, very fresh
We ordered these because we saw them on the great British Baking Show. We wanted to try some marzipan like those crazy Brits. I was not expecting them to taste so good. They disappeared fast at our house. They were very fresh when they arrived in small town America.

Expired and Damaged
For the price I would expect them to be fresh and packaged nicely, especially considering the food item and its packaging, but I got a dissapointing outcome. Even though I made sure to order these closer to Christmas so that they would be fresh to give to my mom, the best by date was almost a month ago, on November 24th. It’s now December 18th. I’m extremely disappointed because I was excited to give this as a present and now it’s too late. This is completely unacceptable imo and just a waste of money and time.
