tasty - better packaging needed
better packaging needed. The cakes were great but they were packed in an envelope. So they were basically squished and no longer square. It didn't affect the taste. But I couldn't display them on my plate the way I wanted

Was so excited when I ordered this treat but it arrived poorly packaged and smashed flat
This was something from my childhood. I was excited to order it but it came in a padded envelope. The packaging for the actual product is a thin box. Needless to say it arrived flat as a pancake. I'm very disappointed! I did taste a flattened piece - good flavor but not fun to eat.

Delicious!
I live in the U.S. and I’ve been wanting to try these Mr. Kipling cakes for about a year. I finally treated myself at Christmas time. I can hardly describe how delicious they are! Amazing! I absolutely love the thick almond paste? that is wrapped around the pink/white cake with a hint of apricot jam. They are too pricey and take a while to arrive from the U.K. …. but they are so, so good!!

haben Sie gerne? Ich auch! Und genau danach schmecken diese hübschen kleinen Küchlein! Süßes sollte man schon mögen - und mit süß meine ich in dem Falle tatsächlich sehr süß! Der Bisquitteig im innern ist fluffig und die Hülle schmeckt nach Marzipan. Die bunten Bisquitquadrate sind mit Aprikosenmarmelade umhüllt. Die Battenbergs haben ein recht kurzes Haltbarkeitsdatum,zum jahrelang im Schrank liegen eignen sie sich aufgrund des Teiges nicht. Aber wer die Schachtel einmal geöffnet hat, der wird sie auch sicher schnell leeren. Der Geschmack ist vergleichbar mit den in verschiedensten Discountern unter dem Namen "Wikinger-Röllchen" geführten Produkten, die jedoch statt Aprikosenmarmelade meist mit Himbeermarmelade zubereitet sind und häufig noch eine Schicht Kuvertüre über dem Marzipanmantel haben.

le prix de la livraison est passée de £3 à£20 pour 1 boite,de biscuits.Impossible d'acheter ça!!!!! Dommage c'est tellement délicieux, mais il ne faut pas nous prendre pour des pigeons !!! Vive le Brexit!!ç
