Vienna Hot Giardiniera 4-Pack (4-16 oz. Jars)

Excellent product from Chicago for toppings on beef, brats, and hotdog sandwiches. Not able to find this HOT Giardiniera product in the Altanta area markets, for the hot type that use oil rather than vineagar. Why did you pick this product vs others?: The veg's are smaller for a topping's and use the oil base rather than vineagar as it has much better flavor. Oiliness: Just right - if you like Chiciago style beef, hotdog, brats, this is the way to go. Spice level: Hot

I love Italian beef sandwiches but the restaurant charges extra just to add these peppers to the sandwich and they don’t give nearly enough. These peppers are so good that I’ve put them on auto-delivery. These peppers also add something extra to pasta dishes and beef stews. Highly recommend

This is the best condiment you can buy for any sandwich you want to make. It is really hard to find in most grocery stores but as always Amazon won’t let you down.

Arrived early and in good condition! Living in a state that doesn't sell giardiniera this was a perfect find to bring a taste from home to my new home!

I have bought these numerous times and we love the flavor... my only complaint with this and most all of the other brands are that they use vegetable oil and not olive oil. The oil will start going rancid after some time no matter if you open the container of have it in the refrigerator. The oil has some great flavor, but as you know eating vegatable oil is not healthy, so you want to strain most of that off. The shelf life on the oil used is to bad, so you don't want to buy in bulk and keep too much in stock. IT does not matter if you buy this at amazon or at you local Aldi. They all have the same shelf life problem. If you get it fairly fresh and does not spoil it is great, but when the oil starts to go, the whole jar tastes bad and you cannot salvage it. I would like to see a vendor use olive oil in stead and I would pay more to try that option. Because if you could add the oil to you meal, that is an added bonus.

I've been looking for Chicago-style giardiniera here is in Texas but impossible to find. Love the Vienna brand and gave this a shot. I enjoy the variety of veggies (carrots, green olives - actually a lot of green olives, celery, peppers), size and zest...not too hot but has a nice flavor. Goes great with my homemade Italian Beef sandwiches and pizzas I also order from Chicago.
