Nice inexpensive high quality helmet
Let me start off by completing this company, the yellow color is true yellow. The build quality is amazing when thinking about how little this costs. Is this a Nolan? Shoei? Schubert? Not even close, does it have all the features of a higher end helmet? Not really no. However I didn't spend over $1000.00 for it either, that said this helmet is quite good. The pin lock works well, the shaded color is very similar to those safety glasses one can buy. The clear outer visor is almost perfect optically, it doesn't seem to stay open if hit with crosswinds, nor will the modular portion stay open for long if hit with a crosswind. However at low speeds or at a stop sign, both the visor or the modular portion will stay open, it's when one is above 55mph and a crosswind hits will they close. As for the fit, it's nice and snug in the areas it needs to be, it's a little close to my mouth, however it's not uncomfortably so. As for the venting it's okay, it does let some air in, is it the best venting I've used? No, however it's adequate. Not sure if the pin lock or the visor will easily fog up or not, it's summer time and hard to get them to fog up in these temperatures. One nice feature is it has a ratchet clasp typically only found on helmets 2-3× time's the cost. It came with a back vent scoop, that kind of covers the back vents or sits on top of the vents, it came with the hardware to use it if desired. I taped it on to see how it looks? Personally it looks goofy, so I don't on plan using it. Is the helmet quite? It's okay, not the quietest nor the loudest, however tapping on it's shell it can be easily heard. Overall it is good choice if funds are tight and one needs a helmet that is DOT rated. I would not hesitate to buy another if I needed.

Great Helmet!!
I love this helmet so far! The liner snaps in and out out for easy washing and it has cutouts for seamless installation of a bluetooth system. It has two visors, a tinted half visor and a clear full face visor. I wear a large so I ordered a large. The fit is great. It's very comfortable. I would recommend this helmet to anyone, especially at this price point.

Good Quality Helmet
Good fit, comfortable on long trips. Wind noise isn't bad so my inexpensive audio unit was plenty loud enough to enjoy music. Plus it looks really cool. Vents are functional and easy to open or close. One minor irritation - the visor is a little sticky, may put a little lube on the side hinges. Definitely worth the cost!

I bought this helmet as backup, but now I wear it as primary
When I ordered this helmet, I was like for the money how good can it possibly be? The reviews seemed favorable and that's what tipped me, so now I will add my own review. I ride an HD Electra Glide for considerable distances sometimes, and your gear should match its most extreme use. As a half-helmet rider for years I was out on a country road and had a tense moment when an SUV passed me at the worst possible time. For the whole ride home I had time to consider my gear and how it would've actually protected me in a collision, if I had been an inch to the left and got hit by the SUV instead of a close look at it going past me. I found this helmet and ordered it, thinking at least I could offer a passenger full face protection on the road if I hated the helmet. It arrived surprisingly fast, in a double box, and it fit absolutely perfect on my head. Took it for a 300-mi ride in the NC low country that weekend, and it is on that experience I base this review. Wind noise is slightly more noticed than with some helmets, although my full dresser HD has a wind screen and that creates some odd buffeting that non-screen riders would never experience. That all being said, this helmet performs spectacularly in all aspects, and especially considered for cost. The face cover slides up easily, so you can even put it up or down while riding. The flip-down shades are convenient, for days you're in and out of the sun a lot, and you can't easily swap sungoggles on or off every few minutes. They also make you feel like you're flying an X-wing fighter, so for those who like Star Wars there is that benefit. The clear faceplate is easy to manage. I might make the thumb tab a bit larger since I peeled a nail back in trying to deal with it, but that's not the helmet's fault so much as my lack of familiarity with a new helmet. Actually the faceplate is easy to remove, enough so that I might pack with me a few clean replacements for summer days with lots of bugs. Honestly I can recommend this helmet to anyone, at least from a usage perspective. God forbid I ever test it for safety, but with that in mind I think a longer ride merits a face shield. Hope this review helps somebody decide, like other reviews did for me with this helmet. I'm betting the vast majority of buyers feel as I do, and this helmet is excellent value for features. I do plan to get another just like it for my passengers to wear too.

My review
This is my second 1Storm modular helmet purchase, my first one was the arrow blue which I bought to match my Roadking, this was the arrow orange which I bought to match my StreetBob. Now for the review of this helmet, is it the same quality as a shoei, arai or ruroc no not even close, but if you want a great modularhelmet without having to pay between 300.00 to 1000.00, then the 1Storm may be exactly what you're looking for, fits well, ventilation on the helmet is good, padding feels comfortable, and the helmet strap is of good quality, the only con I can think of is the helmet is a little heavy but I would definitely recommend this helmet to friends and family, and will definitely use 1Storm helmets again.

An nice inexpensive alternative
To provide a little backstory, I purchased an AGV helmet (not modular) about 2 years ago. I love that helmet, but it's an absolute nightmare with my hair extensions. I purchased this inexpensive modular helmet with the plan of purchasing a higher end modular helmet if I decided I liked it. I didn't expect much from this helmet considering I am comparing it to my $250 AGV, but let me tell you, I am shocked at the quality of this. Of course it feels a bit cheaper, but it functions exactly how I need it to. A few notes about the design: I will never go back to a traditional helmet. Period. Modular all the way. I definitely feel like a fkn dork when I have the face portion lifted when im taking it on and off, but it's worth it. It's so much easier to get in and out of with my hair extensions, ear piercings, and ear buds. The road noise is not much louder than my AGV which is shocking. Another thing I noticed that I really cannot explain is the aerodynamics. I dont know what it is, but I dont feel like my head it getting blown around as much in this helmet as it does my AGV. I ride a naked sport bike, so I literally experience all the wind. Im not sure if perhaps the AGV just didn't fit properly or if there really is something to the design of this inexpensive one. I noticed it is the same height as my AGV, but it is a bit wider. Im assuming this is bc of the extra room needed for all of the mechanical parts needed to make it modular. Not a deal breaker, just worth mentioning. Im very small, so this makes me look even more like a bobblehead than my original helmet. I would recommend this helmet all day for anyone looking for something inexpensive and modular. Im going to keep wearing it for the season and I'll report back if anything changes.

Great Helmet with Great Features
I love my new helmet. It is lightweight and fits perfectly. Measure your head per the instructions in the listing and you will get the correct size. I purchased a large. The quick release latch is great. I like that it has a built in tinted shield that you can flip down during the day to block the sun. The chin portion flips up to make it easy to take the helmet off and the clear front shield will flip up so you can eat or drink or have a conversation. This helmet is very nice looking and is DOT approved. The price is excellent. I was hesitant at first because I thought it was too inexpensive to be good. With all the features the helmet has, you really get a lot of bang for your buck. Highly recommend.

Best helmet in it's price. Well made vs. others.
Out of the budget helmets, under/around 60-80$, this is a real nice helmet. I got this in xl, though my head measures for a large. But I like too wear a hoodie, or head/face mask, and plus if you have alot of hair on your head the next size up is nice. The vents, visor, modular unlock buttons all work nice. The vents work well. You know wen there open or closed. The matte black is nice, but if your ridding and older or daily risen lilly, greasy, muddy bike,. Or in general, just every little smug or bug, etc leaves marks on the matte black. Id probably get a glossed color if I were too purchase another. All in all best helmet in it's price range out if 3x modulars I bought. I'd compare it's quality too that of a hjc, or other. I would def buy it again, yes it's true too size, but 1 size up fit alit better for me, for what I wear, and amount of hair. The chinstrap release us awesome. The visit works great, but it's tadd' bit short imo. But I usually have amber glasses on anyway. But it is there, when you need it when that sun is rite in your face. It's a nice add on. It is a bit heavier, vs the other, no name modulars no got, but I don't mind. Not enuff too anoy me,.
