This is my first spy camera. I needed one to see if I could find out who was removing promotional materials from outside my business (within a building). There was a bit of a learning curve to understand how this camera worked and how to set it up for my situation. It's small size is great for being able to place it unnoticed, but in terms of using it, that makes it difficult for anyone who is far sighted and older (the buttons are very small, as is the SIM card). But it was worth the bit of practice it took to try out all the modes. It's worth noting that the SIM card can feel like it's stuck the first time you put it in. I used tweezers to remove it, then noticed there was a tiny ridge on the backside which you are obviously meant to hook your nail under to pull it out. Every time after that it was easy. It captured the footage I needed. The video was very clear so identifying the individual was easy. Uploading the videos to my laptop was also straightforward. I would say there were three elements that may be stumbling blocks for a lot of people with this camera: 1. Size of buttons - because of how tiny and basic the camera is, the functions are set by pressing the buttons in different sequences. I wrote out my own chart that made it easy to refer to and follow. Use a pen, or some kind of slender pointer to press the buttons if you don't have childlike hands with long nails. 2. It's not obvious if the SIM card is inserted correctly and removing it can be tricky. Check where the contacts are inside the slot so it's clear which way up it has to go in. Push it in all the way. To remove it, feel on the backside (non-contact side) for the ridge about 1/4-1/8" in. Hook your nail against it and the card will remove easily. 3. Setting the time and date for the time stamp is not intuitive and looks like it doesn't work the first time. It creates a new file. Trust the instructions. It does work. All in all, I think this is a great little spy camera for the price.

I needed this camera to be continuously plugged in so I made sure the product description and answered questions said as much. I get it in, ran a test on batter power alone and though I have found a small little jewel of a device....until I plugged it in that is. The instructions isn't that hard, tells you what lights blink upon pressing certain buttons indicating what mode it's in. However, the instructions for "Continuous Use While Charging" is NOT accurate. When you plug the cam into a PC or wall charger, the LED light is supposed to turn a solid red and then go through the normal prompts for various input commands. The LED is a slow blinking red indicating it is charging. It will not let you do anything while it's charging. I even reset the cam using the little tool it came with. Nothing. This is a seller who clearly does not know their own product. I will be returning this and looking for something else. It's kinda infuriating to see sellers like this on the Amazon store, and I see this a lot.

A little confusing to set up but once I figured it out the picture quality and sound exceeded my expectations!

This little camera I'd definately worth the reasonably low cost. It has great picture, idk if I'd say it captures on it 1080p but there is no need for it anyway because the 720p function makes great quality footage at half of the data! I thought originally I had a defective camera and was sent a replacement. Although come to find out it was in fact operator error,lol! I was getting sound but no picture when plugging in the memory card or linking the camera through its cord to my laptop. But then I discovered after the replacement came and I had the same issue; and then went ahead and even bought another of a different brand but same type of device, that a certain type of media player is needed to play the content back! For anyone with this issue, I recommend VLC Media player! It's great and I found that all of the cameras worked and loved them so much that I kept the one I thought was defective as well as the replacement! Seriously, you're not going to get more than a couple hours worth of recording on a single charge, but if you plug it into a power bank or outlet it will provide continuous recording until the memory card is full! Only real downsides are the night vision is only good for places that are already semi lit, like street lights through your curtains and not at a great distance like the camera dies in the light! And, it will only accept up to a 32gig memory card! Which fills up pretty quickly if you are using it for continuous use! But we'll worth it's cost!

so i got this awhile back in 2019, honestly its not great at all, i purchased one and i had to return it because it would freeze when recording in any mode (720/1080/night mode)...received a new one and still, sometimes it would do the same thing but not all the times, the camera would record but the picture would freeze when i checked the footage, i mean its a great little gadget but for the price (cheap) you know ur not getting anything high end, setting it is a pain as you dont know if its working properly unless u test it and check it, would hav been better with a phone app, night vision is not good at all, and when it doesnt freeze, picture quality is ok in 720 and 1080p, and motion detection is ok, but again, to make sure its working its to much of a hassel, i kepted the device since the return window came and went.. i definitely dont recommend this device, id say spend alil more and get one with wifi capabilities that has an app for less of a headache, gave it 2 stars for functioning features but overall, not worth the buy

The title is very misleading. There is really nothing "smart" about this camera. Its not wireless and actually has none of the features a smart camera would have included. Its picture quality is ok. Nothing special. Its mount is rather flimsy feeling and wont hold its position. Really its just ok for use as a hidden camera inside something.

Pretty legit if you need something like this. It no GoPro or anything high end like that but it does works as stated. Instructions are really good and video and audio quality is good too. Its super small! I wouldn’t recommend if you need for anything high production, but if you need a simple camera, VERY small camera for whatever reason. This should do it. Def easy to hide and work good at night. And def good for nanny cam or stuff like that.

Will only take photos manually. Motion Detector only works with video and only in well lite conditions. Have tried unsuccessfully several times to take picture/video of someone at my door in a low light hallway. No video is recorded. Works OK inside the apartment where light is better. Would not recommend this to anyone for photo or for low light situations.
