Ampro Adjustable Speed Skipping Rope - Jump Rope - Original - Skip - Skill - Training - Exercise

I'm using it few times per week, about 10 minutes each time, and I find it perfect for my needs -> warm-up and cool-down sessions in the gym. At first, I found it a little bit too long but the length can be adjusted quite easily -> I'm 172cm, that's about 5.7" (if you are over 180cm/5.9" this rope would be probably a bit too short for you). Bear in mind that this is not a very heavy rope (and you cannot add any weight to it, like to some other ropes) but it does its job quite well -> the weight is enough to make a double under jump quite easily (and that's more than enough for me). It also tends to curl a little bit at the beginning (when you unwrap it from the package), but after few sessions it gets a bit better in that point (this is not a negative for me, as it doesn't stop you from skipping - but bear that in mind when buying it). In overall, I'm happy with the purchase as this is a very good rope for a warm-up/cool-down session in the gym.

I've owned an absolute ton of ropes, from the ultra cheap speed ropes, up to the super expensive Cross Rope. This rope is my favourite by far. I like a rope with some presence and avoid lighter ropes. I also like to have to put a little effort into the rotation, and always struggle with ropes with spinning mechanisms wearing out over time. Sometimes simple is best. A solid functional rope that will last you a good while and at a decent price. Can't go wrong.

A pretty standard rope. As a beginner, I would probably buy a weighted rope though as I find them a bit easier to use.

Good rope but I was sent a yellow rope and not green as ordered.

It's go it a easy rotation through the handles even after shortening. Does have a slight tendency to tangle, when crunched up in the gym bag, but slacks up easily after a few jumps. I have used it 3-4 times a week since purchase, at the gym and a lot of the times on the concrete outside. It's finally just given way and broke in half after 9 months. It has been a lot more durable than some of the more expensive ropes i have had previously, and given the price it's worth it

I ordered this product and within 2 days it was shipped and it arrived the next day! Very fast delivery which is great since I wanted to start jumping rope as soon as possible! The rope is shorter than I would have thought at 9ft, especially as it is adjustable but that doesn't fault it. It's ideal for people under 6ft, over that and I would suggest a 10ft rope. Very nice product, comfortable and sturdy. I would definitely recommend it to someone who wants to start jumping rope or is looking for a new rope!

Great rope. PVC cord which will wear out on concrete etc unless you have a skipping mat. Just buy a decent rubberised yoga mat if you want it to last. Handles aren’t weighted. It’s similar to the Decathlon jump rope which has been great. Good rope this. Yeah it will wear out after 4-6 months. I’ll probably wear out first. No brainier jump rope. Fast and light. Tricks easy. Enjoy.
