If you are in the HR world, this is the handbook you need to have. If only one book is allowed in your library (weird premise, but allow me to take it for my point) this is the one.

For all practioners of HRD and HRM, especially for SMEs and SSIs in developing or third-world economic scenarios, who are unable, perhaps, to make the investment into automated enterprise solutions like PeopleSoft or the SAP ABAP modules, it is a must-read, must-apply toolkit for the generic and holistic development of business as an ecology.

This book gives depth to the HR professionals. If you want to know how to strategically align HR with business and quantify the role of HR then this is one of the best books.
