If it was a little 'heavier' or had a bit more substance to it, I would be more confident hanging it on my wall and filling it with wine.The brackets to hang it are dumb! When you hang this vertically on the wall as shown, the upper and lower brackets are not in line, which means you cannot secure both to a stud - just one or the other. There is room on the rack that they could have done this - they just chose not to. Dumb!The brackets themselves are countersunk metal plaques with a keyhole cut in them (larger hole to thread the screw head through, smaller slot to hold it in place). The problem with that design is that it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to line up the top and bottom screws to be exactly the right distance apart so that the bracket settles on to both screws. You will either catch one or the other and the second screw ends up bearing no weight.I bought a shelf bracket to go underneath it (metal with a grape pattern - seemed apropos!) so now I'm more comfortable all around.Overall - for the money - it looks great (as pictured) from a distance. Downside is it is a bit flimsy and needs more sensible brackets. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ more espresso-cappuccino colored wood than rust *by Z***O on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on June 28, 2010* purchased this wines rack to add a nice focal point at a bare dining area wall. i was first hesitant because of the description that it was rust-colored but was pleasantly surprised when it wasn't at all that. it blended very well with our furniture which has an espresso finish and everyone who has visited our home has commented on how unique it looks. the hanging part was a bit of struggle but if you have the tools, it shouldn't be that big of a deal. it holds 8 regular bottles of wine (champagne bottles are too wide/thick to fit inside the holes) and could probably hold one more on the flat parts of the piece, such as the top or the side. just make sure that the rack is anchored properly on a stable wall so that it won't fall off or ruin your wall. plus if you intend to put another bottle on top or on the side of the piece, make sure that the bottle is sitting on a non-skid pad or liner because the surface is smooth and slippery. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful Design *by D***K on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on April 19, 2013* I bought this "used" from Amazon for only $48. I had been looking at it on the Home Decorators website for over a year at $139. Being used, it did not come with screws, but I found my own at the hardware store. Then finding a stud in my wall was kind of troublesome. Measuring took two people and then hanging also took two people and I scuffed up the wall a bit. But it looks amazing. No difference between new and used. I couldn't find a scratch on it. And it was completely bubble wrapped. The wood is very dark with just a small touch of cherry color in it. It takes regular size wine bottles.
