NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER! *One of Food & Wine’s Essential New Cookbooks for Fall* *One of Eater 's Best Fall Cookbooks 2019* *One of desertcart's Best Cookbooks for Fall 2020* "Antoni has a love of food equal to my own. From his Johnny's Queso Blanco (you can never go wrong with melted cheese) to his Polish Hangover Soup (I'm sure this will come in very handy) and all of his desserts, I can't wait to explore the mind and creativity of this extremely hot chef." —Chrissy Teigen Antoni Porowski, the food and wine guru on Netflix's sensation Queer Eye , meets people where they live—literally. With appealing vulnerability, he shows cooks of all levels how to become more confident and casual in the kitchen. The verve and naturalness of his approach earned raves from Food & Wine and Bon Appétit to GQ and the New York Times , which noted his dishes prove that “sometimes simple is anything but simplistic.” Some of the recipes in this book are weeknight healthyish meals, while others are perfect for off-the-cuff entertaining. Elevated yet simple, they’re often composed of fewer than five ingredients. Whether Bastardized Easy Ramen; Malaysian Chili Shrimp; Roasted Carrots with Carrot-Top Pesto; or Salty Lemon Squares, all are visual stunners and can be carried off with panache, even by beginners. Review: Yes,yes and YES!!! - Beautifully done cookbook! I admit I’m a massive Queer Eye fan and bought it because who wouldn’t want to see more of Antoni??The recipes are all fairly simple and all the photos are mouthwatering, even the ones of the food;) My only complaint is the book came with red marker on the front and a torn corner as if it had been used. Review: Fun cookbook! - Really cool graphic design and photography in this cookbook. Fun to look through!

Antoni in the Kitchen: Review
I preordered my book, and got it this past Monday. I read the forward and intro, and enjoyed reading about Antoni’s story and how he came about his career and passion for food. The book is aesthetically pleasing, especially the photos of food accompanying the recipes. I have already made the recipe “Pasta with sausage, lemon, + parsley”, I told my family I would cook for them if they bought the ingredients for me and would cook when I came home from the gym. This was a big thing. I cook for myself, and typically don’t eat with my family. But the fact that I made this the same day I got the book, and cooked for my family. We were all really excited and there were no left overs. It simply a delicious recipe and very simple to put together. I’m going to be making another recipe tomorrow, the turkey chili one, and I’m really excited to put it together with one of either the watermelon appetizer or raspberry dome dessert.. but I know either way, everything will be absolutely delicious. Attached is a photo of me with the recipe I have already cooked. Thank you Antoni for putting your heart in this book, I can definitely see and taste the love! - Bailey

Great Addition to Kitchen
I am a kitchen bitch. As my hips can attest to, spending a few hours in the kitchen when I have the right recipe and amount of time is one of my favorite things. So every year, around Christmas, I select one new glossy, hardbound, photo-laden cookbook to add to my collection. This book was this year’s choice, and I do not regret it one bit. I find the book in my hand more than I even originally anticipated, and have been delighted by the recipes. To the amount of negative reviews decrying “recipes are too simple” and “too many photos of the author”— if you’re looking for the culinary rigors of de-boning a chicken and making absolutely everything from scratch, and you haven’t picked up a cookbook from an attractive chef who makes the majority of their fame and income on a screen lately (think Bourdain, Giada, and even that silver fox, Jacques Pepin [who provided a blurb for this book], well— go elsewhere. I’m a stickler for photos-accompanying-recipes, and was only disappointed once. The photos were not a problem for me. And I’m no slouch in the kitchen, and found these recipes to be a good balance of effort-for-outcome and time-for-product. For the young professional with an adventurous palate who is trying to do it all in 24 hours, including cooking for themselves and/or others at home, it hits.

The content is expected - but is the signature real?
I read a few reviews of the book before I bought it, and they seemed to be quite varied. Some said the recipes were too simple, some said they were too complex. A few even said there were just too many pictures of Antoni. I don't mean to speak for the entire population who bought this book, but did people really want to buy a book related to him WITHOUT there being pictures? :) Honestly, I felt there was a balance between the number of recipes, pictures of Antoni, and pictures of food. I have yet to read all of the recipes in extreme detail, so can't comment on how complex or simple they are but I have found at least a few I want to try, and that is enough for me. I feel the personal information is used well to weave a story around the recipes, making it more than just a cookbook. My biggest concern: is the signature authentic? After buying this book from Amazon, I had the opportunity to attend a small signing at Antoni's New York restaurant, The Village Den. Yes, I spent the time comparing the signature in the book he signed in front of me, to the signature in the Amazon book, and also to a picture on Instagram of a book I know he also signed. All 3 did not match, as one can expect when someone is signing so many books. But there were enough similarities between the Instagram photo and the copy he signed in front of me, and not enough with the Amazon book (which was signed on a completely different page, and therefore was missing something that looked like a "signature" part of his signature in the other two books). It's possible that for the "anonymously" signed books, he deliberately signed the blank page and not the page with his name as author. But I just don't know. Regardless, it's a good book that seems to accomplish what it was trying to be: a cookbook infused with personal aspects of Antoni. But maybe go for the unsigned copy just in case.

Great Food and Eye Candy Too!
I love this cookbook! The recipes are classy yet easy to put together. To me this cookbook feels warm and inviting as my family, like Antoni's, is Polish. That's one thing I love about this cookbook. It's interesting to know why a recipe came about. I can relate and that in itself if is delicious! I will most definitely share this cookbook with my family and friends. The price is right and the book is big and sturdy to enable easy handling as you recreate these yummies in your kitchen! Buy it! You won't be sorry!

So many easy and delish receipes and Antoni's pictures and stories are a bonus.
I love Queer Eye, and when I saw this I thought why not try it. I purchased one for a friend who loves cook books, but didn't know about QE, she loves the book and is now addicted to the show. The receipes are great, most of them only use a few ingredients and are easy to make, The Pasta with Sausage Lemon and Parsley has become one of my new fovorites. The Cheesy Lemon-Rosemary Artichoke dip was a huge hit with my family and friends I was glad I make a double batch. If you like to try different combination of foods, give Antoni's cookbook a try!
