Captor and captive. Lovers. Soulmates. We’re all that and more. We thought we were past the worst of it. We thought we finally had a chance. We thought wrong. We’re Nora and Julian, and this is our story. *** Hold Me is the conclusion of the Twist Me trilogy, told from Nora & Julian's point of view.*** Review: Hold Me Good (I Love This Series) - This is the third and final book in this series and I will miss Julian and Nora. I loved this series and this book was really good. The book starts where book two left off with Nora and Julian recovering in hospital. Nora has come to accept her life on the estate with Julian and continues to flourish as she pursues her art and university degree. She craves Julian and his unpredictable kind of love as much as the air she breathes. This book explores Nora's awakening as a women not just sexually but intellectually, socially creatively. I loved that we are brought closer to her parents and the friends she left behind before her abduction. Julian also evolves on so many levels in this book, although he still has many dark places within he finally allows himself to accept being worthy of being loved and allowing himself to be vulnerable enough to love another. I also loved how Nora was able to find courage willing to do anything to save those that she loves and she didn't let her friends or her parents pressure her into leaving Julian although she knows that he would have never let her leave him. This book was not only filled with action it was also emotional. Yes Julian is a killer and an arms dealer and he loves Nora he is dark and moody and I loved everything about him. This book was well written like the other books in this series and although I am sad that this series has ended this book was the prefect ending to a really good series. If you like reading dark erotic romance with kidnapping and BDSM than I recommend that you read this series. Review: astonishingly fantastic - This third book was a continuation of the exciting drama of Julian and Nora so many things are right with them so many things are perverse. They both go through so much the confusion. Nora's confusion about Julian's feelings for her goes back to when he abducted her and all the things that had happened on the island Julian is very obsessed with Nora and has placed trackers in her skin, which Nora venomously despised, but he did it anyway to keep track of her and to Keep her safe, I love this whole three series, even though it had very dark, bloody moments very dark sexual scenes the acceptance of Julian's need to punish and reward during sex and Nora's capability to adapt and eventually accept everything that Julian dished out excellent

Loved this series, but it got a little too heartwarming (despite the violence) toward the end
This was a well done conclusion to the series. The plotting was more original than the last installment, and it served as the catalyst to Julian getting in touch with his own feelings that finally resulted in humanizing him. Nora continued to develop her own dark side, which made her much more accepting of Julian's darkness. She morphed into a character who is wise beyond her years - I enjoyed her more when she was more naïve. Julian's humanization kept this from being a five star read for me - they as a couple turned into beauty and the beast. All the edginess created in the first book by Julian's and Nora's dark relationship dynamics got sanded down and turned into a ball of fuzziness (with a side of kink every now and then), which was a lot less interesting to me than relationship that developed at the beginning of this series. Still, this is a definite must read if you read the first two books.

One of the best books I've read this year! Love Julian and Nora's Story! Hot! Hot! Hot!
Julian and Nora’s story is the reason I’m obsessed with dark love/dark erotica. The third and final installment detailed the inevitable: Julian’s acceptance of his true feelings for Nora. Julian is in love with Nora. Unequivocally.Totally. Hopelessly.Unconditionally. I couldn’t be happier! I truly believe Nora simply existed and not LIVED because she didn’t know Julian loved her and loved her unconditionally. Kudos to Anna for a phenomenal reveal of Julian’s feelings!! The final installment was everything I had hoped for and so much more. This story did not disappoint in or out of the bedroom. I was really hoping Nora’s parents would come around a bit more. However, their choice to tolerate Julian is much better than the alternative. This installment is an amazing conclusion to Julian and Nora’s story. I finished the book within hours. The drama, the love play, the plot were too intense to put the book down for a second. Have you ever felt if you turned away for a second, you would miss something? Yeah….it’s that good! The limo gunfight scene was so intense I felt as if I were actually there fighting the bad guys! I love the transition from kidnapped Nora to the strong and confident Nora once she accepted her destiny! What a wonderful gift to herself, Julian, and their family! This book is worth much more than five stars! Congratulations Anna!!!! The series and especially the final installment are masterpieces! Pure literary and sensory genius!

Five star review. End of series review.
Ok long review here with spoilers so beware if you haven't read the book yet. First of all, amazing book from beginning to end. The only flaw i will poke holes in is at the beginning Doctor Goldberg says he will be back "within the hour" with Nora's test results when she was sick. He apparently had to take the results to his lab, but returns in like 5 minutes. Where is his lab located? And even though the pregnancy hormones were very apparent in the blood work, shouldn't he have taken a little more time than 5 minutes to check the samples for anything else as well? The book as a whole was amazing. Had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I even cried because i thought julian was going to die. So, i did purchase and read this entire series. I read the first book and was very indecisive about continuing on with the series due to the fact that it was very dry i thought. I just couldn't get into it. I get it was setting up the scene for the other 2 books. Anyway, being the person i am i have to finish a series i start regardless of how dry it is. Im sure glad i did with this series. My favorite book of the 3 is this one. I do have to say, this series had to definitely grow on me. I don't know if that's what the author intended for this series. I do recommend this entire series as a must read. However, i do wish the author added more to the ending like how their little family was fitting into their lifestyle. I get there were no more extreme bad guys, but just a bigger epilogue. I kind of feel there was so much build up in the book and then it just...ends. Like "she graduates college and they both find they are in love with each other the end". Although she is pregnant again...i was very much looking forward to reading about the kind of parents they would turn out to be and how their little family fit into their sadistic lifestyle. Oh, and what happens to the doctors husband and peter? The author mentions peters list and how nora was going to tell julian about it where it concerns the doctors husband, but then we don't get to find out what happens? Maybe another book idea?? Anyway, i better stop poking holes.

Very dark, but very, very good..
Very dark, but very, very good... Praise to Anna Zaires. Very few books measure up after reading this dark, twisted, hot series. The first book of the series took me by surprise to say the least, since it was my first time reading something so dark you could say I was not prepare for it. Thinking it was too much for me to handle I just stop reading it; BUT after a few months of hiatus, I decided to give it another try and boy!!! am I glad I did...Anna Zaires books are seriously good, and this series is no different... great plot, great developed characters and just plain magnificent - The third and last book of the series definitely does not disappoint..full-packed action, hot, hot, hot scenes and a spectacular ending to the story of Nora & Julian. WARNING!!!: This series is not for the faint of heart and is what you would call "tough to swallow"; but if you can get past that and like me ONLY see as a work of fiction, then you will thoroughly enjoy it. - I also recommend you try the Krinar Chronicles Series...even though a bit different from this series and much less dark, it is still a hands-down a great book to read.

5 stars and counting
There are 3 books in the series and although my review was written after I finished my third book, it encompasses all three. In the synopsis, the books are described as dark and disturbing and they do live up to its description. Parts of the book are more disturbing than others but they are part of the story and the characters themselves. The books are well written, suspenseful, and a page turner. It was fascinating to see the developing relationship between a young innocent girl and a self-proclaimed sadist. At each crisis, I waited to see how it will be resolved and I was never disappointed. I really like Nora – as young as she is at the beginning of the story, she looks at her situation realistically. Her situation is hopeless and depressing. But once she realizes that there is no hope and she may never get free, she looks for ways to accept and adjust. At times, she becomes emotional and loses it, but she would not be human if she did not. Julian in a way is less complicated –he is not bothered with the concept of right or wrong. He is a man who takes what he wants. He never apologizes for kidnapping Nora, nor ever explains his actions and deeds. When Julian starts opening up to Nora, her feelings towards him slowly change. She sees him not only as a killer and her kidnapper but also as a man who lost all the people he loved. She had difficulties reconciling her growing attachment and attraction to Julian knowing what and who he really is. She is confused by her feelings and tries to separate them in her mind, to be able to deal with them. Like in every relationship, Julian and Nora take from each other and give to each other. When the transformation is complete, they do not meet in the middle– Nora will have to move almost to the top of Julian’s scale to meet him there. It is obvious and understandable that Nora is undergoing a more dramatic change than Julian is. Living in Julian’s violent world, Nora tries to fit in his world by learning combat fighting and how to shoot a gun. When she kills her first man, she is horrified and considers herself not being better than Julian. But for all that Julian is he is willing to move away from the top of his mountain to meet Nora. When Nora wants to see her parents, although he is persona non grata in the United States, he does not refuse. He makes elaborate arrangement for her to see them. When she wants to attend college, he enrolled her to the best school in the US. After everything is said and done, this is a love story. Twisted, dark and hopeless at times, but still a love story. It may not be for everyone, but I loved every minute of it. 5 stars +

Best of the series
I loved the new Nora in this one. She became more courageous. Julian was still an ass. But this one had a lot more action in it and I loved it. Twist me I was completely uncomfortable but peaked my interest. Keep me kept me on edge because I wanted to know what was going to happen next. Hold me gave me well I don't know but it was a good feeling in a weird way

Happy end

My favourite of the series!
I absolutely loved this book! It stirs up so many emotions!!! I kind of found myself reading the first 2 books out of morbid curiosity. The story line was so twisted that it repulsed me but captured me at the same time; but this book brought and end to the story perfectly! I could go on and on about this book but I hate spoilers in reviews so I won't. I will say that the psychological twists and the emotional backlash from this story had me on the edge of my seat just as much as the thrilling, bloody and suspense ridden fight scenes that I LOVED!!! I was afraid that the author would just give this twisted couple a happy ending; like all would be forgiven because of one tiny (yet monumental) detail but I was proven wrong. The only cryptic spoiler I will give is that death can either bring people closer together or it can tear them apart; the author either sadly has some experience with this or is very empathetic because the reactions of each character, the descriptions of each characters individual pain and the clarity of their respective decisions was so expertly depicted that my heart almost broke for them. This is the perfect anti-fairytale story and despite my repulsion throughout the story I found myself thoroughly satisfied with the happily doomed ever after ending!

Einfach wunderbar
