Excellent Under Certain Conditions
This is an excellent alternative to wax for marine applications. Used on my 32 Ericson. The sides of the boat are painted Imron so a nice tight non-porous surface. As with wax or this product - porous surfaces such as old gelcoat will drink up the application and give poor results. So if choosing between wax and this product for good surfacesโฆ I would go with this stuff, because the ease of application is so great. Goes on very easy - comes off very easyโฆ even if you leave it on for a while. You donโt need to buff hard and the results are equal to or better than wax in both shine and luster as well as water shedding and stain prevention. I would purchase againโฆ

While Awlgrip is really the best -- it arrived leaking because the cap wasn't on tight. What a mess.
