It is sturdy and can hold used oil. I don't store flammables in it so I drilled a tiny air hole in the small cap.

Been great so far with no issues, got a few of these for RO water for the aquarium as the LFS were out of seachem totes. Actually feels a little thicker material than the seachem, and may surpass them in longevity time will tell. Really sturdy, good gasket on the cap haven't had a leak yet during transport even when one tipped over during transport home.

I'm using to hold used engine oil. No complaints. Works great.

I bought several of these in case of an emergency, to have water on hand for myself and my dogs. They are very sturdy and the perfect size. My only issue is that they do have an odor. I found if you remove the caps for about a week before filling, it dissipates the odor substantially - but not entirely. But for emergency use, knowing they are food grade, I'm okay with the slight odor. After seeing the review about the leaking cap, I did test mine out. Although I knew I would never store them in the position that was shown in the video, I did tilt them to see. First time, no leaking. I then removed the cap to see if there was a rubber seal; there is. I then closed the cap again and tried once more - yes, indeed it did leak! I removed the cap again and put it back on: no leaks. I set it on its side, then tilted it, no leaks. It does seem intermittent. I'm guessing it has more to do with the way you screw the cap on - perhaps the threads have to align just perfect. But, for me, I intend to store them upright - so it won't be an issue. Just super happy to find food grade containers!

This product is true to size very thick and steed for holding left over fish fried freeze. Great value for the cost. Arrival was fast within two days.

I mean..... It holds water? What else am I supposed to say. It does what it says it does, like a champ, the lid has ridges that help you get it on and off, and it does exactly what it says it will do.

I use these for old oil. No drips or leaks.
