BEST EVER!
LOVE THESE BULBS, HAVE OTHERS AND THEY CONSTANTLY STOP WORKING WHEN WIFI IS DISCONNECTED! BUT THESE BULBS ARE GREAT, THEY STAY CONNECTED AND ALSO YOU CAN CHANGE THE COLORS TO WHAT YOU HAVE GOING ON IN YOUR ROOMS. I USE THE BLUE COLOR WHILE WATCHING MOVIES, JUST LIKE IN THE THEATER, USE RED OR GREEN FOR CHRISTMAS, AND SO ON. CAN ALSO USE DAYTIME BRIGHT LIGHTS FOR READING OR REGULAR YELLOW TINIT LIGHTS FOR EVERYDAY USE. MULTI-USE BULBS AND SO EASY TO INSTALL AND USE. WELL WORTH THE MONEY.

The Lepro app is terrible, but the bulbs are excellent
When I first purchased this, I almost immediately returned it because it would not connect in the suggested app. It would constantly have device timeout errors. I use Smartlife for some other devices that I have and these will thankfully connect in that app. Other than the initial setup difficulty, the quality of the bulbs is excellent. They're much brighter than my previous smart bulbs, even on the color settings.

Updated: Bulbs are great, app is good
Update: The app has been updated and it's much better. Adding lights to rooms is now easy. Adding them to a room does not automatically put them in a group, you have to do that on your own, but adding lights to a group is easy and then you can turn them all on and off and set scenes as a group. For instance I have all the lights in my house in 1 group, then I have my 4 basement lights in a group. Then I split those 4 lights into 2 more groups so that I can have fluctuating colors in my basement if I want. Overall, much happier. I like the group idea, but I still feel like the room management could use some love. Also it does have fewer choices, color wise, than hue lights. Overall though I like the app better and much prefer the price. Probably going to do the whole house in these as soon as I replace the dimmer switches. Original Review: I love the bulbs and the colors they can display. The price is great and these definitely have value as bulbs. The app on the other hand feels like it's missing several key features. As the app controls everything that's an issue. Basically, if you want all your colors and scenes for a room to line up with each other or be easily changed these bulbs are not for you. If you don't mind the slight variance of human inaccuracies and the irritation of managing each bulb individually and scenes that will be slightly off timed then go for it. Rooms are distinctly lacking in features. It lets you sort the lights but nothing else. They lack color sharing, scene sharing, all on or even all off. Even brightness needs to be done for each individual bulb. an open room with 12 bulbs between all the lamps can be very irritating to control. Bulb management is lacking. When you go to bulb management you can select all of your bulbs for that room or for the house and.... delete them. That's it. There are other things you could add, but at least sorting them to rooms should be there. Scene management is utterly terrible. First you can only have 8 scenes saved. I can accept that because limitations are whatever. Your scene options are 1 color, up to 8 colors flashing, or up to 8 colors with slow transitions. Not bad. Here's the issue you can't share scenes, not even to bulbs in the same room. For instance I setup one bulb to have a Halloween scene changing between a few colors but mostly orange. Happy with the scene I tried to use it for the room. rooms don't work that way. ok. Then I went to one of the other bulbs in the room to use the same scene, timing would be off but whatever. Turns out each bulb has their own set of scenes I'll need to remake it every time. I'll never be able to get it exactly the same for each bulb so no matter what there will be slight variance.

Amazing multi-purpose light!
Ordered 4 bulbs for my apartment and absolutely love the new ambient lighting change! At first I struggled pairing the bulbs to my wifi, and it was only because they were not connecting to the 2.4Ghz wifi but to the 5Ghz. After configuring my router and setting up a Guest Wifi that runs on 2.4Ghz, I was able to pair everything and good to go! Overall setup is easy, just follow the instructions carefully when syncing. Takes a few tries at first, but don't give up! Its totally worth it! Love that it comes with numerous lighting setups and will definetly have fun during the night!

Worst Decent Lights Ever
1GB internet, I installed and ran the wires for, pole to my home (I'm a lineman) so I have the best possible case scenario for internet connections and wifi coverage. I have these lights on 3 floors of my home, none of which ever get lower than a 300MB connection. Nothing blocks the router in my home besides distance, no plaster or brick walls, metal objects, nice open area. The bulbs are respectively distant from each other except for a number of them, specifically the bottom of the stairwell chandelier has 3, the master bed fan has 4, kitchen 2 in a ceiling light, wife's office has 2, the bathroom with 3, these lights are all roughly within 6 inches of each other. There's a total of 20 bulbs in use; 4 in the basement, 1 outside (deck light), 4 in the master bedroom ceiling fan, 3 in a stairwell at the bottom and 1 at the top of the stairs, two in the kitchen, 2 in the wife's office and the last 3 are in the master bathroom. And the best part, no stupid bridges, just a bulb in socket and wifi. Love it. I do not understand as to why, I can say they seemed to work "better" on my Comcast based internet, but I had them on the least amount of time with it, Verizon Fios turned out cheaper and better for us so it has the longest time for it. I haven't had even a 10% of the drop outs of connectivity that I did Comcast, even as an employee and lineman for the company (the guy who installs your service and fixes the lines on the poles). Besides that annoyance, the lights barely ever lost connectivity. Now it's endless with Verizon Fios, so take that info with a grain of salt. There's 12 lights within 20 feet of the router. The other 8 are within 45 feet. How you set these up is deeply annoying to me. I was hoping they would work directly with Google Home, our home's ecosystem is just that afterall. Google Nest doorbell, nest x yale locks, nest cameras everywhere, and google home minis. You still have to download another app, Lamp UX to get these programmed. Lights get turned off and on 3 times, then on again and they begin to blink. Pair them in, assign names and locations, and then attach to your google home account and done. They now appear with all their color and brightness settings in Google Home. Cool. I can say it surprises the hell out of me every time these lights go to full brightness because me and my wife live like vampires with the lights usually at 1-10% because we have light sensitivity due to being PC/VR gamers and both suffering from allergies. They're great in this regard, bright enough to light up a room at 1% and soft enough to not cause strain, she loves changing the colors, I love the voice control. Turn the lights to 100% brightness and you might as well begin directly boats to harbor and consider a fog horn. However after month 5, these lights... they never hold the connection. Sometimes it's a matter of going in the app and then they are, working just fine, other times, nope. Turn the light switch on or off because they are just refusing the reconnect to either app. The whole reason I got these was so I didn't have to go to light switches. I wanted voice controlled lights. The ones that give us the most trouble, the lights at the bottom of our stairs (3), the master bedroom fan we gave the hell up on (4), I do not understand it. Sometimes 2 or 3 of them will work other times none. Repair, change the names, same locations. Try to turn off and suddenly not working again. These lights are great as just bulbs... but the rest of the features, voice and controls to them, are terrible. I hate their Lamp UX app especially because every time you pair a light, you go into the settings for it, and have to go through a tutorial. Okay I can see a reason to do this once, but EVERY TIME? I have 20 lights. C'mon man, make a skip option to this nonsense. The oddest part of it all our bathroom has one of those above mirror lights, 3 bulbs to it. Never has an issue. Why is it the 7 I value the most ALWAYS do? I haven't gotten replacements because at this point we're both to fed up with it to bother and are looking for replacements as a whole.

Once it connected, these are great!
I had some trouble connecting it with my wifi. I was about to return them and I thought I would try one more time. It worked! And as soon as one connected, the rest were a breeze. They integrate easily with Alexa and if one ever goes offline, they are very easy to reconnect. I recently bought these as part of two of my sister’s housewarming gifts. They and their partners love them!

I’m in love!
I had high hopes for this smart bulb when I bought it but this little machine exceeded ALL my expectations. I wanted dimmer lights and colorful lights but didn’t want LED strips. This is the best alternative! I don’t have Alexa so I can’t give a rating on that.. But I love this little bulb and I am super excited for it to get dark out so I can see the true effect!! Definitely buy!! (Set up was super easy too!!)
