Pros: gently exfoliates skin if used as a scrub or polish; softens skin; clears up complexion; treats blemishes, feels great Cons: smells like sulpher (think hard boiled eggs) Overall: Really a great product and wonderful that we can have accesss to the Dead Sea benefits at home. I love the results of this product and tolerate the smell. I don't recommend using this before a date but rather as a routine home spa treatment. It does not smell perfumey for those with fragrance sensitivities. Be sure to rinse out the tub/shower after use or your bathroom will smell a bit like old eggs. Despite that it is still worth the healing properties and I am happy with the purchase!

I have for the majority of my life had acne free skin although in the past three years from nursing school and being a new nurse I learned that stress makes me break out. So does being pregnant and anything high in sugar. I typically use rx or medical grade skincare so I was skeptical about this purchase but it has been absolutely worth it. My pores are smaller, breakouts cleared and inflammation reduced.

I have oily, acne-prone skin. Using this mask 3x a week for the last 3 weeks has almost completely cleared up my skin and my dark spots are fading too. This mask smells pretty bad, but you only keep it on for 3-7 minutes at a time. Very quick and convenient to use several days a week. I highly recommend this product as it works quickly and you don't have to use a lot with each application, so the jar can last for a very long time. You really get your money's worth.

Very therapeutic mud, it goes on easy, I add essential oils to it as part of a mud wrap in my salon. I will definitely reorder it and it is an awesome detox mud.

i first bought this mud mask one year ago at a health food store and it of course was in a see through container and went back to buy more and the mud mask had been discountinued so i found it here on amazon same price but ingredients is a little different and the container is smaller the old is always better but the new is okay wish they hadn't change the ingredients

I've had clear skin since high school with only occasional breakouts but then pre-menopause hit. All of a sudden I had white heads, pimples, black heads. I wasn't recognizing my own skin. I tried tons of expensive department store brands. I have sensitive skin and nothing was helping. After using their sea salts for my bath from my local store I read the insert and thought I'd give the mask and soap a try. Talk about effective! My skin is breakout free, soft, with no dryness issues or oily spots. I live in the southwest and my skin is at its best. You have a customer for life. Won't use anything else!

I haven't visibly seen a difference in my skin since I've started using. It's a bit messy to handle. The scent is bad as well, like sulfur. It didn't do much as a hair mask either and was difficult to wash out. A tip for applying would be to use some type of tool because it's "goopy" and gets everywhere. I don't recommend.

Great mask! It helps clear up my face. I definitely wouldn’t leave it in longer than the max of 7 minutes it states on the jar. I lost track of time and left it on for 15 minutes and my face broke out the next day, but that was my fault. I use it 1-3x/week and helps heal my acne faster than it would normally take. Will buy again!
