The cover has a really luxurious and high quality feel. Papers are thick and have a very nice texture. They are thoroughly glued around all edges and this pad comes together with a matching plastic knife to separate the paper from the pad after the painting has dried. Brushing the entire paper with water to paint wet-in-wet is no problem. Once it has dried, you can cut the painting from the pad and it’s completely flat. There’s a beautiful pink cover. However the place to start separating your page, is in the left hand margin. Now your work is no longer in the book form. There is no option but to separate the sheet from the left hand side, so why have it in a binder?
