World Book Encyclopedia 2011 (22 Volumes)

Purchased this set for personal use. I also purchased the yearbooks to help keep this up-to-date. I like being able to sit down and find the information I'm looking for in a clean design that is easy on these old guy's eyes. I know there are online encyclopedias, but who wants the hassle of logging on the computer, finding the website, and then printing out the article (because I can't read more than a paragraph or two on a screen before my head hurts). Classic reference resource that I'm glad to own, even if my family says it makes me a Luddite.

This was a gift for the grands. According to their mom, it is great. She wanted them to be able to graze and discover, instead of always typing the precise subject they want information about to satisfy a school assignment. Not as formally written as some other encyclopedias. Quite readable (and grazable)

I ordered these books for my 86 year old mother.. We were both very pleased by the quality and the ordering/shipping process. The books brought back memories of my grade school days and they provide computer free access to info for my mother. Thanks.

Rural poor school district and not money to get newest encyclopedia. So this one replaces a 2005 set!
