The heavy duty faucet is cUPC. The tub has an integrated heat loss barrier to prevent heat loss during bathing and has been tested to show it will retain water heat of 6 degrees higher than cast iron for a period of at least 30 minutes. Tub minimum thickness is 3/4". The weight of the tub when empty is 131lbs. I was surprised to discover that it is very difficult to find a freestanding bathtub less than 60". The bathtub niche was only 59" from wall-to-wall. This tub (with manufacturer's faucet) fits with a little room to spare. I messaged Baths of Distinction and they included a free piece that allows you to fill the tub much higher.
