It's better than mesh and paper tape
TL;DR Pros: 🟢 Requires a thinner mud coating than paper and mesh drywall tape. 🟢 Minimal tear out if over sanded. 🟢 Joint compound is able to seep into the tape as it's porous. 🟢 Tolerates active drying (heat guns/blow driers/blower fans) more than paper/mesh tape. 🟢 Adheres closer to the substrate than paper/mesh tape. 🟢 Does not expire nearly as fast like mesh tape (might not even truly expire, but a date is listed for 3ish years). 🟢 Better mold resistance than paper tape. Cons: 🔴 Will make you super itchy, as it is fiberglass after all so wear gloves when handling. 🔴 Ceiling corners/inner corners are more difficult to apply than with paper tape, outer corners are nearly as easy. 🔴 Tolerates dust poorly compared to paper/mesh tape so a bag is necessary to give the roll an extend life. It's easy to work with and is far more mold resistant than paper tape so it can be used in just about any application. If you oversand it'll create fuzzies, however another coat of mud will fix it up with ease. My only con is that it can make you itch like no tomorrow, but it's worth the irritation for the results. If you buy fiberglass tape, make sure to wear a long sleeve shirt and nitrile gloves. If you end up getting stuck by fibers, rub your hands generously with vaseline and dish soap. When you're done using the joint tape, store it in a freezer bag to extend the life of it.

Glass(Fiberglass) beats paper by a long shot. For a relatively new person, Fibafuse is great. I had originally purchased this from a big box store which stopped carrying it when drywalling a room. Its easy to cut with a spackling knife or scissors. It holds quite well and there are no bubbles to worry about which are infuriating to mend. I was actually able to compare the difference between Paper and this alternative when I ran out of fibafuse. Being a well read novice on drywalling, the paper tape would end up with bubbles which i would have to cut out and redo while the fiberglass had absolutely no bubbles. The fiberglass would also stick better to the joints while applying to the drywall due to the surface area the small rough fibers provided. There are a few downsides to this product however, compared to paper did not change the rating for me. 1. Its really easy to tear when spackling corners. Be gentle with working with inside corners and the knife. A quick tip for some people- Sand the corners of your knife so that the edges are rounded. 2. It can make your hands itchy due to the nature of the product

Awesome Product
A drywall guy on YouTube recommend FibaFuse so I thought I'd try it since I detest paper & mesh. This ended up being the best drywall tape I've ever used. It made mudding a lot easier & allowed for thinner coats which, in my case, alleviated the need for sanding. PROS: Thin, strong, no lifting & no bubbling. CONS: Irritates skin (wear gloves)

Best drywall tape
Likes: Thin, very strong when installed. In garage with high moisture, the paper tape would crack or start to separate at joints on ceiling. FibaFuse with hot mud doesn't let go or crack. Dislikes: Fiberglass sometimes makes my finger itch.

Being a DIY homeowner, I hate to pay someone to do something I believe I can do. With this tape, it had made sheet rock repair much easier because you don't have to lay as much mud to set the tape. It is much easier to cover with subsequent passes. I did find that corner present a new challenge because you can cut through it if you don't use a corner tool. I will buy more as need. I do like the product.

The best choice for fixing cracks.
Stronger than paper and way stronger than mesh. No air bubbles, or hairs popping up if over sanded. Used mesh tape on drywall seams and had hairline cracks show up later. This tape fixed the problem and since it lays down super thin I was able to easily skim coat over without any noticeable high spots. Never using mesh tape ever again on seams! One hint I’d give is watch out for fiberglass splinters. Use a glove when handling it

Great Tape For Drywall
Whether it's a seam or a stress crack FibaFuse is perfect. Strong and easy to use. If you're sensitive to fiberglass, I would recommend gloves while using, it can make you itchy.

This tape is so much better than the paper or mesh tape I've used.
I am by no means a professional. I am a regular home owner and had a project to repair some drywall in my basement. I've tried using the paper stuff and that takes so many layers of mud to cover, This fibafuse tape is so easy to work with. I highly recommend.
