My wife and I both suffer from semi regular migraines. If I stay aware of the aura I can usually take meds and stop it before it gets too bad but occasionally they really get away from me. When it gets to that point the only solution is to get in a dark room and cover my eyes. It's best if I can have total silence and minimal odor/touch/taste ... basically sensory deprivation if possible. I find that the cold helps me. When a full blown migraine gets going it's like my eyes are hot, boiling hot and the pain goes from behind my eye and back through my head. Taking this out of the freezer and putting it on my eyes helps with that feeling, and blocks the light without suffocating me (unlike my pillow). The scent is pleasant when I'm feeling well, but warmed is outright overpowering when I have a migraine. If it's cold the scent is less strong and works well. The only time I had trouble was before we started using a freezer bag. It smelled like the freezer and that caused me to feel much worse. I highly recommend storing it in a freezer bag if it's in the freezer because it will absorb odors. Warmed up I actually like it on my neck. It's a nice shape to wrap around the neck and help relax the muscles. It's also good for sinus headaches when warm. The scent isn't a problem with those headaches. The warmth makes my sinuses feel more open. My wife likes to use it warm. Often I'll put it on my eyes out of the freezer till it warms up just because it feels good even without the migraine and after it warms up my wife will microwave it because she enjoys how it feels after it's been heated. So far the material has held up well and there have been no problems to speak of (other than learning the hard way that it should be kept in a freezer bag).

I will never be without this product again. Well made and fabric is not rough as others have said. The warmth and moisture that it adds is so nice for bad sinus days. Wished I had bought the neck one too however this one does fit well behind head to allow for both uses to give very comforting relief to sinuses and sinus head ache. About a minute and 15 seconds in microwave and you get a solid 15 minutes of relaxing relief. If you want more just re warm. Fabulous product! I LOVE MINE!!!!

Love the soothing smell of this hot/cold pack. Stays warm for 30-40 minutes. Just a little heavy around the nose and sinuses. But still would purchase again. Helps sooth migraine

Update: Since starting to use this product many of the seams and stitching have begun to separate. I will be requesting a replacement item. This is one of the most effective treatments for my migraines. The mask is perfectly weighted to add additional relief for nasal and sinus congestion. My only complaint is tht it cools quickly (at least for my liking) but it does stay warm for awhile. To counter this I add an extra minutento the warming time and wrap in a facecloth then remove the facecloth when I feel it cooling for another blast of heat. I was a little turned off by the lavender scent (I just don't like it), however it's not as strong as I feared, and mixes well with other fragrances.

I love this. I get migraines regularly and this helps sooth away a lot of the pain and tension. Feels great to heat it up ,lay back and relax. It's not too heavy or too lite. I recommend this to anyone who suffers from tension and/or migraines. Helps a lot with stress also. Helps relax body and mind.

Good size, Nice heavy weight. I am not sure it helped my sinus headaches but it was very soothing. I recommend acupuncture. After using Zyrtec and Neil Med Sinus rinse, i was kind of at my wit's end with my sinuses. I had tried acupuncture before and it did not work. Ten years later and a different practitioner and this doctor helped my sinuses from day one. I live in the Pacific Rim, so lots of Korean and Chinese medical practitioners. I am a believer.

I have ordered 3 of these in a row. Every time, they immediately break open and the seeds inside fall out. This product is horrible quality do not waste your time Unless you want to keep reordering it
