Good soy sauce!

I use this in my stir fry dishes - one is pictured above! Absolutely delicious. This is one of my preferred brands for Chinese light soy sauce; it has the punchy, salty zip I expect from a Chinese soy sauce, and although I must confess it's perhaps one of the saltier varieties I've encountered, I don't mind that terribly, as the quality is still quite satisfactory - you'll just want to omit any added salt in the recipes you use it in. If you're looking for a good homemade stir-fry sauce, here's mine: In a small bowl, combine: - 1tbs gochujang (Korean chili paste, found in most grocery stores in the Asian foods section or here on Amazon) - 2 tsp sugar (white or brown is fine) - 3tbs +1tsp light soy sauce - 3 1/2 tsp sesame oil - 4 tsp rice vinegar (any other type of vinegar will negatively impact the flavor, but you can use "sushi seasoning" if you have that instead) - 1 tbs sesame seeds - 1/2 tbs black pepper Simply stir-fry your veggies (here we have half an onion, 1 lbs of broccoli, and half a bell pepper with some garlic), add the sauce, and cook for another 3-5 minutes, then serve over rice. Simple!

I have been using this brand for years now. It has umami taste and not just salty. Great for sushi, dipping, and cooking. Getting this size is a must to save a few bucks for the amount we use.

The best soy sauce out there. My Mom was using this brand back in the 1970s/80s. She could find it her local stores.I don't have that same luxury. I don't mind buying it online because I can get the larger size. Larger size = lower per unit price. It is cumbersome to use the larger container so I have a stopper top bottle that I pour this into for everyday use. The "light" doesn't mean a lower sodium content. Rather it is to distinguish from "dark" which is used more for coloring. I also noticed that if a recipe calls for any ol' soy sauce, you can get away with using less then what the recipe calls for if you use this brand.

This is a must for authentic Chinese cooking at home.
