Extremely satisfying build!
This model airplane kit is fun to build and looks great in my collection. The instructions are easy to follow and the wood quality and laser cutting is top notch. I covered the model with the included tissue paper using a glue stick and finished it with โeasy dopeโ. I printed the graphics onto the tissue by gluing the tissue to printer paper and running it through an inkjet printer.

Excellent RC conversion
Used a 8523 motor with a generic gearbox with a 5.25โ prop. little bit of carbon and a micro rx brick. Upped the dihedral to 1 1/4โ on both wingtips battery is up front against the firewall. Just needed some hot glue in the cowl to balance it out. Flying weight is about 1.2oz with 3ch control. I could put the floats on but they would likely break off after each landing on account of the added weight. Good as always with guillows

Fun first build.
71 years old and I had never built a balsa and tissue plane. As my first this was simple and fun. The directions could have been less of a treasure hunt but overall I enjoyed it. It hangs in my grandson's bedroom now

I use colored tissue to save on weight because then you don't have to paint
As usual great kit that was simple to build. This was my 4th kit in 2 months. I like it so much I just got another one that I'm going to build to fly because there is a big difference in building one for display and building one to fly

Excellent kit
Guillows laser cut kits are far superior to the older diecut kits. I really appreciate these kits. Much easier than scratch building. Good selection of ww2 fighter aircraft. Easy to follow instructions turn out a respectable flying model if you take care in your build.

Goes together well, but missing parts, and instructions lacking for some work
This is another excellent Guillow's model that will look realistic and hopefully, fly under rubber power. Only complain, the absence of pieces needed to complete build properly--tripled on one piece; I had to correct for this Buyers be aware of this fact. I think the problem is that this plane was once set to function as control line model.None the less.I am enjoying building the model.Have almost completed it--looks very realistic--wonder if it will fly

You really have to be a balsa kit enthusiast to appreciate this kit
I bought it for nostalgia purposes. After opening it up, they streamlined the kit eliminating the fly by wire control and a few other non essentials for the 21st century. The price was also a driving factor in buying. The construction of the Zeke is simple as with all of the โsmallโ Guillow kits but the plane can and will look like the box.
