It is very sturdy and the edges cut through cold butter and flour very well when making pie crust. I put it in the freezer to keep it cold and the handle was a comfortable temperature while the metal remained nice and cold.

I bought this as a replacement for my Grandma's pastry cutter which broke when I was making cut out cookies. I'm 63 so you can guess how old this cutter was. It took a long time for me to receive this replacement but it was worth the wait. I can only hope it lasts half the amount of time as my last one.

I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this pastry cutter. Very solid, easy to use, and did a good job with pastry dough.

What a great change from using the mixer to blend cold butter into flour. The mixer sprayed everything all over. The Pomodoro hand blender is so much neater, and easier to clean up. I’ve been using the blender since September, and have had zero problems. I mostly use it to make puff pastry dough, where the butter must be very cold. The blender, with its sharp stainless-steel blades, slices easily through the butter, and makes short work of the mixing process. The easy-grip rubber handle keeps the blender from slipping when I twist it in the dough. Using hot water and soap, I can clean the blender in a couple of minutes. The blender is priced fairly. I consider it a bargain.

I have used this for many baking things now and every time I use it, I think about how much better it is than my old one. It cuts through the cold butter nicely and really makes it quicker to whip up baked goods. It's sturdy and is easy to hold. It really is nice!
