Bedroom Furniture

I bought this for my 6 year old who chose it over the cheaper modern set, to go with a Victorian farmhouse. Although I cringed at the price tag, upon receiving the set, I was impressed with the quality and design. It really made the house special. The only thing that could be improved is making the little dresser drawer a bit tighter fit, so that it doesn’t fall out every time I tilt the dresser. I received this set today and was delighted with the quality of the product. The doors worked as did the drawers. This is an excellent suite for a dollhouse. The bed is a "queen size" bed not the standard "full size" I was expecting so I cannot use the bed in my dollhouse. It is a large suite of furniture so be aware of the amount of room you actually have to put it in before ordering. This suite of furniture is true to scale so the fault is mine for not checking my measurements before ordering.

There is so much detail in this bedroom set. So glad I found it. Bed is not quite 7” long, so some tallerdolls will not fit unless they are in a semi-fetal position. I confess, I never checked the dimensions before placing my order, so this is totally on me. But since I love it so much, I don’t mind the size. It fits my room perfectly.

This finely-detailed bedroom set is perfect to spark a little girl's interest in proper dollhouse furnishings. The size is right, the armoire has doors that open and even a hanging rail... now I wish I had little hangers. The "bedspread" is being replaced with one made of white lace (just a square): the checkerboard pattern in pink just wasn't in keeping with the style. All in all a little gem of a bedroom set.

While very well constructed and beautiful, I was expecting dark cherry or mahogany. It is brick red. I will not give it a bad review, because I should have asked, but I love the style and sturdiness of all the pieces! Absolute excellence for a child's dollhouse--which is Melissa and Doug's target consumer! I put it in the nanny's room!

Pretty for my grand daughter’s dollhouse. I like the wood. Mostly you see plastic in the stores. The tiny drawers and doors open. I love it and it isn’t overpriced. Also phenomenal service. I had one missing doorknob and 1 phone call and they made it right. Great service, great price and nice quality item.

Seems to be a decent set for the price. Of course, not collector's quality, but it's fine for a child to play with.

Got this today for my 3 & 4 year-old Granddaughters - it is very stylish & pretty & is perfect for the size of a Barbie Chelsea doll, but regular Babies tower over this set.
