I had to take this item and the working fob plus the vehicle to the dealer to have it programmed, at a cost of $190. It worked for a few weeks, but had some odd behaviors. Sometimes the car would not recognize the fob or the proximity sensor would not unlock the doors. I didn't think too much about it.Last week we went skiing 3 hours from home. At the end of a long day the fob would not work to unlock the doors. I thought that was odd. I unlocked it with the cut key and tried to start the car. The car would not recognize the fob and kept saying "no key detected". I tried the override by holding the fob to the ignition start button but the car still could not recognize it. I tried warming the fob, thinking that the cold battery might be not optimal. No luck. We finally had to call for a tow truck to take us back to civilization. I told them the issue, they brought a spare battery for the fob just in case.3 hours we waited for a tow truck. The new battery worked, and the fob worked for 3 days. Then it would not work again when I tried to go to the store last night. I kept getting a "no key detected" error.The other OEM fob works fine. This fob is defective and I have requested a refund from the seller, but I am still out $190 for the cost of the dealer to program it and cut the key. I am supremely unhappy with my purchase. ### ⭐⭐ This key fab works sometimes. I have called company several times and they say they will have the "Amazon team" call me back and nothing. I will call my 4th time tomorrow. I suggest spend the extra money and get the factory one.
