Now that that's done with here are the things that give this 1 star:1. The hardware is clearly cheap, they claim it's high quality steel, and that may be true but it's still small, cheaply polished and thinner than I've seen 2. The holes aren't melted to prevent fraying3. the stitching isn't straight and isn't stitched all the way across to provide strength4. the weave is also pretty cheap. Not a thick weave, pretty thin.Clearly there is some quality control issues (like the crooked stitches) and clearly there are general quality issues.I would search elsewhere for a NATO ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good NATO strap in many styles. *by S***G on Reviewed in the United States on June 8, 2019* I generally buy NATO straps for sport watches. For a blue, vintage Tressa, only NATO straps offered the kind of color choices I was looking for.These HNS straps offer a lot of different colors and styles to choose from but only in the most popular sizes - no 17mm or 19mm. The straps themselves are your typical reinforced nylon material. They have good hardware with a signed buckle and two keepers. All are stainless and seem sturdy enough for the job at hand.Of all the colors and patterns, I chose the blue strap with anchors - a nautical theme that goes well with the watch itself. There are tartans, paisleys, stripes, flowers...there's like three dozen choices! Although these are not the cheapest, if you're looking for a NATO strap that reflects more than just pure utility, this is a good choice. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Nice strap, but not a REAL functional Nato strap *by J***Y on Reviewed in the United States on July 6, 2019* The strap arrived ahead of schedule, it's comfortable, it fits my watch perfectly, the print is great... but it's not a proper Nato strap.A Nato strap runs through both spring bars to prevent the loss of your watch if one spring bar fails or breaks. Excellent concept. However, the buckle on this strap is held on by another tiny spring bar and if it fails... bye bye watch.Proper Nato straps have a steel ring buckle, which is stronger than most any commercial spring bar. Some come with a steel ring with a tiny offset gap so the strap can be attached but the gap is very small and the buckle is quite unlikely to bend out of shape short of extreme stress. The buckle should ABSOLUTELY NOT contain a tiny little spring bar that is weaker than either of the primary spring bars connecting the strap to the watch case, as this completely defeats the security that a Nato strap is designed to provide.If you're purchasing this strap for the look or for fashion purposes then great, get it.
